If the answer is yes, then we must conduct ourselves so that it will be possible. If the answer is yes for a limited time, say until the year 2100, 2500, 3000, 4000 or 5000, then we must conduct ourselves so that it will be possible. If the answer is that we could not care less how long we will live on it then our present conduct and any even worse Earth destroying ways of life will be all right. These are the questions which the human race must ask itself at the beginning of this new century and millennium.
