[GMW #4016] Governments Servants Of All People & Nature Not Only Of The Corporations

[GMW #4016] Governments Servants Of All People & Nature Not Only Of The Corporations Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4409 ~
A few remarks concerning our current society: Privatization? Yes, by whom? By the rich corporations and by the wealthy.

Now we have capital colonialism, the latest, vastly, most intelligently, celebrated subtly advertised colonialism. Now in our time the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer and more and more unprotected.

Some governments have become the servants of the wealthy and of corporations, not of the increasing number of the poor.

The Earth: "Dear Robert, I fully, enthusiastically agree."

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume I The great Scene of Creation
Chapter 1 Our Place in the Universe

Not a single encyclopedia on Earth presents our total knowledge within the two most obvious and logical frameworks which impose themselves upon us so glaringly, namely:
- the total universe, from the infinitely large to the infinitely small, and
- total time, from the infinite past to the infinite future.

The editors of the world's great encyclopedias should meet and agree on that new common table of contents of human search and knowledge.

WORD FOR THE DAY
There is a spirit that pervades everything, that is capable of powerful song and radiant movement, and that moves in and out of the mind. The colors of this spirit are multitudinous, a glowing, pulsing rainbow.

[GMW #3677] World Democracy - Government For Earth & For The People By The People

[GMW #3677] World Democracy - Government For Earth & For The People By The People Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4072~ 28  page --
With world federalism and world government we need first and foremost a world democracy, a government of this planet for the Earth and for the people by the people.

But the problem is so colossal and unprecedented that few political thinkers dare to consider it. They feel more at ease discussing the strength of armies needed to protect specific national corrals.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume III - The Seasons of Life
Chapter 5 -
Of Adulthood

It is more important to live a full, happy life than to occupy a glorified position.

Humanity is one living body made of human beings, not of lifeless governments and institutions.

The latter are only the servants of life, not life itself.

[GMW #3006] Admiration, Passion & Enthusiasm For Life

[GMW #3006] Admiration, Passion & Enthusiasm For Life
Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500
~ Idea 3400 ~
My compatriot Albert Schweitzer was for reverence for life. I am for admiration, passion, enthusiasm (Greek en theos, God in us) for life.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume I Chapter 6 I and Creation
I sometimes think that societal thinking and hierarchies should be turned downside up:

on top should be all human individuals, their families and the Earth;

below them should be all the entities created by humans for good or for wrong or for historical reasons: groups, institutions, nations, governments, religions, associations, corporations, international organizations, etc.

This second group should be the servants, the instruments of individuals and families and the Earth.

Individuals, families should never be the instruments, the servants of the former, which nowadays alas is all too often the case.

And the Earth should not be considered as a mere object good enough only for exploitation by all these institutions.

[GMW #2760] Nature Servants, Nourishment Servants, Climate Servants, Water Servants, Animal Servants, Earth Servants

[GMW #2760] Nature Servants, Nourishment Servants, Climate Servants, Water Servants, Animal Servants, Earth Servants Idea Dream -Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500
~ Idea 3146 ~
I hope that for the sake of the Earth and of humanity more young people will want to be environmentalists (nature servants), agronomists (nourishment servants), climatists (climate servants), waterists (water servants), animalists (animal servants), Earthists (Earth servants), United Nations and world organizations servants, rather than scientists, new technologists, economists and business servants.  We should define what professions we need most for our survival, betterment and salvation of the Earth.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume II Chapter 3 Of Consciousness
The more complex our knowledge, the greater our consciousness of Creation and the richer our individuality and human life.

What matters is the value we've created in our lives,
the people we've made happy and
how much we've grown as people.

From a recent Facebook comment:
Anja Louisa Desmet writes:
There are a thousand ways to kneel and kiss the earth. (Rumi)

We sing! (Keruna)

And yes, Anja does sing with the Keruna

Keruna is a vocal ensemble from Belgium.
Six women who celebrate life through song.
Keruna sings at concerts, whether on stage, in-company
or at home, and performs at ceremonies and celebrations.

We sing traditional songs from all over the world
and blend them into one unique sound, pure and simple.
May our song touch your soul and revive your spirit!

Here is one the video of song:
Keruna Sings for the Climate
There are a thousand ways to kneel and kiss the earth. (Rumi)

Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500
~ Idea 3024 ~

Given the magnificence, the miraculous diversity and astonishing forms of life of our planet's nature we humans should be their servants and not their destroyers.  How in heaven can we allow a species to disappear every five hours when it took millions of years to create that species?

The Earth Charter drafted by the Earth Council must be accompanied by the urgent creation of a World Court of Nature where the rights of nature will be upheld.

As I wrote this on sacred Mt. Rasur in demilitarized Costa Rica I heard Mother Earth say to me:

"Dear Robert, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart."

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume II  Chapter 2  Of Happiness
Happiness is reached through physical, mental, moral and spiritual perfection.

Vulnerability: The Key to Emotional Intimacy
She may not be a household name just yet, but when you refer to "the woman who talks about vulnerability," the seven million viewers of her TEDTalks videos know you mean Brene Brown. A research professor at the University of Houston Graduate College of Social Work, Brown has been studying shame, fear, and vulnerability for 12 years. She has presented her findings in three books, on national television, and in lectures across the country. A mix of no-nonsense Texan and best-friend warmth, Brown shines a light into the inner chambers of our hearts -- and illuminates a reason to hope." In this interview with Spirituality & Health Brown also shares four traits of shame-resilient people. { read more }
