[GMW #4790] Create Peace National Parks & Private Parks And Forest Preserves

[GMW #4790] Create Peace National Parks & Private Parks And Forest Preserves Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000

~ Idea 21 ~ 31 July 1994
I wish that, following the example of the creation of national parks by governments, many private persons and families will create private parks and forest preserves. I have bought a few hectares of land next to the University for Peace in Costa Rica and made them into a Margarita and Robert Muller Peace Park.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume II - The Art of Personal Happy Living
Chapter 12 - Of Beauty and Arts

Make of your life a masterpiece of which you can be proud, as artists are of their paintings, sculptures, music or writings. As a matter of fact, art and writing will follow, for you will want to express and preserve your life in a durable form. Leonardo da Vinci was a great example of it with his daily notebook hanging at his belt.

[GMW #4288] Abandonment Of Big Monstrous Cities & Excessive Large Newspapers

[GMW #4288] Abandonment Of Big Monstrous Cities & Excessive Large Newspapers Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4676 ~
Two of the benefits to the Earth if the human species perishes will be the abandonment of all big, monstrous cities and the disappearance of the oversized, overweight newspapers in the world.

The Earth:
"Yes, what a blessing this will be for me and my forests!  And there are many more."

Chapter 4 - On Positive Living

Do all the good you can
In all the ways you can
In all the places you can
To all the people you can
As long as ever you can.

WORD FOR THE DAY
We plant seeds that will flower as results in our lives, so best to remove the weeds of anger, avarice, envy and doubt, that peace and abundance may manifest for all.

[GMW #4059] Plant Trees, Forests, A Beautiful Garden Become Good Children Of Mother Earth

[GMW #4059] Plant Trees, Forests, A Beautiful Garden Become Good Children Of Mother Earth   Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4452 ~
When we plant trees, a forest, a beautiful garden we become agents, good children of Mother Earth.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation
Chapter 2 - Our Miraculous Planetary Home
It is incredible, albeit miraculous, what we human species have been able to do on this little planet!  But now we must beware, for we are beginning to do some serious damage.
Thus,
Each minute
we destroy 21 hectares of tropical forests
we consume 34,725 barrels of oil
50 tons of fertile soil are washed or blown off cropland
12,000 tons of carbon dioxide are added to the atmosphere.

Each hour
685 hectares of productive dryland become desert
120 million dollars are wasted on military expenditures, a trillion a year
55 people are poisoned and 5 are killed by pesticides
60 new cases of cancer are diagnosed in the United States alone,
over 5000,000 cases each year with 20,000 cases leading to death, because of the thinning of the ozonosphere.

Each day
25,000 people die of water shortage and contamination
10 tons of nuclear waste are generated by 485 nuclear plants
250,000 tons of sulfuric acid fall as acid rain in the northern hemisphere, damaging lakes and millions of hectares of forests
60 tons of plastic packaging and 372 tons of fishing nets are dumped into the seas by commercial fishermen, killing thousands of fishes, sea birds and sea mammals.

Every five hours a species becomes extinct...

What greater thing is there for human souls than
to feel that they are joined for life
—to be with each other
in silent unspeakable memories.
