It is so big that I recommend the establishment of a World Commission of the best minds of the planet to deal with it or even to create a World Organization for the Elimination of Poverty. The UN cannot solve it because it has so many other problems to deal with. Here are a few ideas which could be considered in a world strategy to end poverty across the planet. Idea 4901~ An idea for world strategies to end poverty. Creation of a World Party of the Poor with a Party of the Poor in each nation. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II - The Art of Personal Happy Living Chapter 7 - Of Optimism Decide to be Optimistic Let optimism be incarnated in you Make it part of your innermost being Make it your fundamental creed Become known as a staunch,     trustworthy optimist Work optimistically     for a peaceful, just, happy humanity     for a wonderful, well-preserved planet Earth     for a wonderful, happy family     for a great, fulfilled, happy     personal life Close all the doors of your mind, heart,     soul and actions to pessimism Utilize all your wonderful, natural,     God-given talents to make at long last     this planet the optimum success     of the universe and God     i.e. Paradise Earth * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women,IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Daily Ray of Hope WORD FOR THE DAY Photo by Rob DeGraf | Reverdin's blue butterfly It is not easy to walk alone in the country without musing upon something. ~ Charles Dickens More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

The results would be very interesting.  Taxpayers of the well-to-do countries would learn that in many cases the taxes they pay for foreign aid are in reality taxes for the sale of armaments to poor countries which often do not even want them but are under pressure to buy them. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,   Volume II Chapter 5 - Of Love The basic message of the UN is love; love across nations, love across color, love across race, love across ideology, love across creed, love across cultures, love across anything." -- President Kaunda, of Zambia UN News Sources - UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service , UN Wire News Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children, Women, Indigenous People To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY The grateful person knows that God is good, not by hearsay but by experience. And that is what makes all the difference. Thomas Merton Thoughts in Solitude Books recommended by Robert are here. Other newsletters by GMW's editor can be viewed and subscribed to here.
