Therefore the idea of wars, of military killing, of hurting each other was horrendous to me. God allowed me to work all my life to assert that belief and make some progress in the world. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 5 - The Miracle of Individual Life Never come up with the excuse that someone else is greater than you and that you cannot be like them. Be fully what you desire to be and you will be it. The results will astonish you. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY The extravagant gesture is the very stuff of creation. ~ Annie Dillard More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

[GMW #1749] Composing Hymns For All Continents And Global Areas, Nature Regions, Global Entities, Universal Human Values, Global Marvels & Celebrations Friday 3 July 2009, Editor: Easy | RobertMuller.org | Contact | Subscribe | Unsubscribe | | GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish | Tagalog | Dutch | Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 1 to 500 ~ Idea 386 ~ 31 July 1995 There exist already today a few world hymns: Pablo Casals' hymn of the United Nations, the hymn of Europe (Beethoven's Ode to Joy). More hymns should be composed and adopted for all continents and global areas, for natural regions, global entities, universal human values, global marvels and heritages, global celebrations. UNESCO should keep a record of such hymns, give prizes for them and promote them. * Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume III Chapter 7 Return To Mother Earth I believe that only those who see themselves after their death will survive in the memory of humankind. As Socrates said: "The nearest way to glory is to strive to be what you wish to be thought to be." Or as U Thant said: "I want to be remembered as a kind and good man who understood others." * UN News Sources - UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire News Archive New: References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children, Women, Indigenous People To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Dear Mr. Muller, I just finished reading Prophet The Hatmaker’s Son. Having originally heard your voice on a Sunday Service tape at Agape International Spiritual Center in Culver City, CA some time ago, I was immediately touched by your presence and vividly retained portions of your life experiences shared. I’ve been receiving your emails for some time and dug into Mr. Gillies book. I look forward to reading your books. I must share with you that it feels so good to know you are alive during my lifetime. To be influenced by your sojourn in earth and devotion to Peace brings truly a deep warmth. I also receive emails from Monty Roberts, a man devoted to non-violence (peace) in the horse world. If you have not heard of him, you may enjoy hearing the tone of his commitment as expressed in a recent June e-mail. Monty's Principles The Horse Sense for People Column Dear Monty, Violence and pressure as a teaching method does not only exist in the world of teaching a horse - how far is it possible to transfer your nonviolent method to the education of pupils or to the working environment? Monty's Answer: There is very little difference in my world of teaching children or training horses. Violence is never the answer and children and horses seem to know this better than adults do. Monty's website: http://www.montyroberts.com/ The full June e-mail pdf is here: http://www.montyroberts.com/documents/enews2009july1.pdf I am already 50 years in earth and I feel more and more compelled to be a megaphone for the good news of humanities progress. The method isn’t clear yet, but the heartfelt calling is pulling me forward.
