[GMW #4168] Natural Reasonably Industrialized Liveable Countries

[GMW #4168] Natural Reasonably Industrialized Liveable Countries  Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4558 ~
Soon the world will be divided in two groups of countries: hyper-industrialized, unlivable, natureless countries (HUNC's) and natural reasonably industrialized still livable countries (NRLC's).  The latter will be first visited by tourists, vacationers and summer residents from the first group and later invaded by them to live there and keep alive.

Chapter 4 - Our Place in Time

History is the recording of a journey through time.  Nations hold the forefront and monopolize the word:  national history is the only history taught in schools.  Neglected are: the history of the universe, of our solar system, of our globe, of humanity, of world organizations, of continents, bioregions or regions, of cities, of village, of families and individuals.  Local history and world history are the worst off.  The national histories of 191 nations are all pervasive.  There must be a revolution, the introduction of a rational logic in the concepts and teaching of history, of the time frame in which we evolve.

[GMW #2368] Transferring the United Nations Seat to Other Countries

Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 1001 to 1500
~ Idea 1237 ~
29 November 1997
I congratulate the Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. Jean Chretien, for having challenged the United States' world policy at the meeting of heads of states of industrialized countries in Denver in June of this year. He did not accept "the notion that one or two countries dictate the policy of an international organization." He suggested and repeated recently in a US television interview that the seat of the UN should be transferred to Montreal, Canada. Because the US Congress since then again refused to pay the US obligatory dues to the UN I suggest that the item of the transfer of the UN seat be placed officially by Canada or a group of countries, e.g. the French speaking countries, on the agenda of the UN.

Another surprise was our second Secretary General, Dag Hammarskjöld. He came to the United Nations as a very rational economist. But he went every Sunday to a church or meeting place of another religion. When he died we found on the night table of his bedroom in New York the book of a mystic, Thomas Kempis. When you read his Markings, or Journal, now published in many languages, you will see how from a pure rationalist and economist at the beginning he became himself a mystic, almost in constant communion and dialogue with God.
