We know the Earth inside out scientifically and have invented the most extraordinary technologies, empowering our hands, our legs, our brains, our eyesight, our hearing enormously. But a new period has come: we must now learn to preserve and to conserve our precious planetary home, the Earth.  We must also learn to extend our hearts and our souls to the mysterious plans of the universe, of God, of the gods or of the Great Spirit. "Know thyself and you will know the universe." Plato and Pythagoras "We are all born a genius, but we just get damaged along the way." Buckminster Fuller "Have an ideal, have a dream and work for it relentlessly." Paul Hoffman Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II - The Art of Personal Happy Living Chapter 5 - Of Love  One hears sometimes say of someone: "They have a daring mind." I have never heard anyone say: "They have a daring heart." And yet how vital this would be for our world! * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women,IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Daily Ray of Hope Photo by Victoria Morrow | Berkeley, California Good for the body is the work of the body, and good for the soul is the work of the soul, and good for either is the work of the other. ~ Henry David Thoreau More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org Click on any of these tags-labels to see more entries from Robert that have the tag-label:

[GMW #4150] Look In To The Question Of Resolving Incredible Injustices

So we get now retaliatory terrorism in addition to terrorism.  Are we entering an era of upheavals, protests, terrorism and revolutions against the incredible injustices still prevailing on Earth and against the Earth? We better look into that question. It is especially preoccupying, in view of the increase of population in the poor countries by 3 billion in the next 50 years. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 4 - Our Place in Time We have learned to see into the infinitely large and infinitely small. We have made immense progress in investigating our planet's present and past.  But we are barely beginning to conceive our future, our place and role in evolution. The most important dimension of planetary management is still to come. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Daily Ray of Hope Photo by Mark Stevens | Yosemite National Park, California Thousands of tired, nerve-shaken, over-civilized people are beginning to find out that going to the mountains is going home; that wildness is a necessity; and that mountain parks and reservations are useful not only as fountains of timber and irrigating rivers, but as fountains of life. ~ John Muir More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

[GMW #3956] Nurture Optimistic World - Create Office Of Ideas And Dreams For A Better World

This could be a turning point from the current pessimistic outlooks of the future of the Earth and of humanity to positive, optimistic ones. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 6 - I and Creation Einstein tells us that nothing can be faster than the speed of light, namely 300,000 kms, 186,000 miles per second. He is wrong. My thoughts and my soul are infinitely faster: I can be on a far away galaxy and embrace the starry sky within split seconds. I can also go backward and forward in time, which light cannot. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY Today, more than ever before, life must be characterized by a sense of Universal responsibility, not only nation to nation and human to human, but also human to other forms of life. ~ His Holiness the Dalai Lama More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org
