[GMW #4671] Decide To Forgive & To Be Happy

[GMW #4671] Decide To Forgive & To Be Happy Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000

~ Idea 6056 ~
A lady showed me my exhortation “Decide to Forgive…” which she had cut out of a newspaper and kept in one of my books.

She said: “My husband divorced me, but thanks to your message I have remained a happy woman. My children cannot understand it.”

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume II - The Art of Personal Happy Living
Chapter 11 - Of Gratitude

Suppose humanity lost its eyesight or its hearing, speaking, thinking or loving capacity?
Would it not be a catastrophe?

Shouldn't we therefore be grateful for being endowed with these stupendous senses and capacities? Is "stupendous" too strong? Well, think how you would feel, if you lost a single one of them!

WORD FOR THE DAY
Gratitude can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. It makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.
~ Melody Beattie

[GMW #3852] Be Worthy Of Living Well With Nature

[GMW #3852] Be Worthy Of Living Well With Nature Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4247 ~
Nature is for me my immediate vision and television.
I can look at her endlessly with utmost fascination and love.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation
Chapter 5 - The Miracle of Individual Life

What a stupendous happening it is in the universe when on a tiny planet of rocks and water, innumerable species' can see, hear, walk, fly, swim, sing, build, and that one of them has been able to transform itself into a new species by multiplying:

- the power of its hands through incredible machines and factories;
- the distance of its legs through boats, trains, cars, airplanes and space vessels;
- the range of its eyesight through telescopes, television, microscopes and atomic bubble chambers;
- the range of its hearing through telephone, radio, sonars and satellites;
- the capacity of its mind, memory and imagination through electronic brains and computers.

We must be proud to belong to that species and through right knowledge and behavior be worthy of the privilege of living on that planet and of not impairing its future.

The earth never tires,
The earth is rude, silent, incomprehensible at first, Nature is rude and incomprehensible at first,
Be not discouraged, keep on, there are divine things well envelop'd, I swear to you there are divine things more beautiful than words can tell.
~ Walt Whitman

[GMW #3447] Make The Air People & Nature Breath Clean, Pure & Beautiful

[GMW #3447] Make The Air People & Nature Breath Clean, Pure & Beautiful Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 3846 ~
When I mentioned to my famous environmentalist colleague Gerardo Budowski that the air which people breathe in cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles is equivalent to smoking two packs of cigarettes a day he commented:

"In Mexico City's most populated quarters they bring in a cage with a canary and count the number of minutes it takes until it dies as a result of the bad air."

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume II The Art of Personal Happiness
Chapter 3 - Of Consciousness

If everything on this planet is a form of cosmic forces, then we might as well have an immense respect for everything we see including ourselves. A grain of sand, a flower, a drop of water, a tiny flying insect are not just anything.

They are stupendous miracles demanding our astonishment.

And more astonishing of all are we humans who through inquiry, questioning, inventions, science and reasoning are ever expanding our consciousness of the universe and our co-creation with it.

Thy spirit animates eternal years
Pervades and broods above,
Changes, sustains, dissolves, creates and rears

[GMW #3281] Be More Knowledgeable And Familiar Global Issues To Resolve Them Well

[GMW #3281] Be More Knowledgeable And Familiar Global Issues To Resolve Them Well
Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500
~ Idea 3681 ~
The Earth:
"Dear Robert, I hope that someday most heads of states of this planet will have worked at the United Nations and will come from there."
I:
Why do you say that?
The Earth:
"Because they would be more knowledgeable and familiar with the world's global problems and as you know very well my problems now rank as highest priorities among these."

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume II The Art of Personal Happy Living
Chapter 8, Of Health

When I think of all the mistreatment I have given to my poor body for many years, I stand in wonder for its astonishing resistance and self-healing virtues! Thanks God, I stopped smoking, avoid all alcoholic drinks and changed my nutritional habits. Probably this saved my life. I am in endless admiration for the patient, incredible will for life of my stupendous natural, God-given body.
