The creation of a world University of Philosophy would be a blessing. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II The Art of Personal Happy Living Chapter 8, Of Health Cars needed mechanics from the beginning, because cars do not know how to repair themselves. Humans had no doctors for a long time, because the human body knows how to repair itself. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children, Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Daily Ray of Hope Victoria Morrow | Morro Bay, California Pearls don't lie on the seashore.  If you want one, you must dive for it. ~ Chinese proverb  More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

[GMW #2419] Peace Education & Training is Less Costly & More Effective Than Military Education & Training

[GMW #2419] Peace Education & Training is Less Costly & More Effective Than Military Education & Training Wednesday 21 March 2012, Editor: Easy | RobertMuller.org | Contact | Subscribe | Unsubscribe | Biography | World Core Curriculum | Store | NEW Facebook | Twitter | GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish | Tagalog | Dutch | Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 1001 to 1500 ~ Idea 1310 ~ 10 February 1998 I suggest to UNESCO to make a comparative survey of the costs of military education and training and peace education and training on this planet. The results would be eye openers. It would show something similar to the statistic that there are: 556 militaries per 100,000 inhabitants of this planet. 85 doctors 1 world servant What a poor image of our 20th century! Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II Chapter 11 - Of Gratitude The best proof that we love ourselves is that we forgive ourselves so easily, while we forgive others so reluctantly. Don't our human brothers and sisters deserve the same willingness to be forgiven? It would be a much better world if we could practice equal readiness to forgive. [GMW #1564] More Schools For Preparing World Public Servants

[GMW #1564] More Schools For Preparing World Public Servants Tuesday 30 September 2008, Editor: Easy | RobertMuller.org | Contact | Subscribe | Unsubscribe | | GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish | Tagalog | Dutch | Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 1 to 500 ~ Idea 92 ~ 10 October 1994 There are thousands of schools around this planet preparing young people for business administration, for national or local public service, but not a single one to prepare world public servants, as if the human family and the planet did not need any. Is it normal that there are 556 soldiers, 85 doctors and only 1 world civil servant per 100,000 inhabitants of this planet? I recommend that such schools and many more positions of world public servants be created. The University for Peace in Costa Rica could become the first school for world public servants. I would be happy to teach and train them. * Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II Chapter 18 Of Education (Inducation) Looking closely at it, one would find an incredible degree of duplication and waste of efforts in the national, expensive educational systems of the rich countries. We must devise a world-wide efficient, universal, rational, life-enhancing educational system, beneficial to all humanity and to the planet. * UN News Sources - UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire News Archive New: References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children, Women, Indigenous People To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. In the continuous flow of blessing our heart finds meaning and rest. www.gratefulness.org WORD FOR THE DAY David Steindl-Rast A Listening Heart Most of All, They Taught Me Happiness by Dr. Robert Muller To order: Phone: 800-727-2782 Email: Becky@ParaPublishing.com Fax: 805-968-1379 Mail: Amare Media c/o Para Publishing, PO Box 8206 Santa Barbara, CA 93118-8206. [GMW #1328] Revising the UN Charter To Include Earth, Resources & Nature To Be More Responsive To Environmental And Climatic Challenges

[GMW #1328] Revising the UN Charter To Include Earth, Resources & Nature To Be More Responsive To Environmental And Climatic Challenges Faced By Earth & Humanity Monday 22 October 2007, Editor: Easy | RobertMuller.org | Contact | Subscribe | Unsubscribe | | GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish | Tagalog | Dutch | Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 6501 to 7000 ~ Idea 6707 ~ In Idea 625 I note that the UN Charter does not contain the words earth, nature or resources, nor does it speak of the environment, a word coined by the UN twenty-five years later. I recommend therefore that the Charter be revised in order to make it more responsive to the new environmental and climatic challenges faced by the earth and humanity. * Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II Chapter 8 Of Health Cars needed mechanics from the beginning, because cars do not know how to repair themselves.
