It will become a model to follow by other, by all countries of the world. Even better, the Union should have no army at all but a security system like the one envisaged for the United Nations but not implemented. What a great, tremendous example that would be! What miracles the European united countries could do with the huge savings from their disarmament and demilitarization. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art Of Living Volume II - The Art Of Personal Happy Living Chapter 5 - Of Love I dream of a world in which no bird would fly away and no animal flee at the approach of a human.   * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women,IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY Stay true to your deepest intuition that an extraordinary and miraculous life is possible. ~ Craig Hamilton More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org Click on any of these tags-labels to see more entries from Robert that have the tag-label:

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 4 - Our Place in Time Once I met an expert who had been hired by a big foundation to evaluate the UN's first world conference on the environment held in Stockholm in 1972.  He stopped me and said:  "Robert, you will be interested in my conclusion, the environment is basically a spiritual issue." He saw surprise written on my face and continued: "Yes. If a businessperson or a politician takes a decision thinking only of its effects during his lifetime they will not care about the environment. But if they think of the effects on his children, grandchildren and future generations, they will care for it. It is therefore a spiritual question." * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women,IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Daily Ray of Hope Photo by Jacqueline Deely Photography | St. Andrews Bay, South Georgia Island We are each other's harvest; we are each other's business; we are each other's magnitude and bond. ~ Gwendolyn Brooks More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

[GMW #4091] Create An Elected World Parliament

[GMW #4091] Create An Elected World Parliament Tuesday 21 Aug, 2018, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store |Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000 ~ Idea 4484 ~ Since no action has been taken on the recommendation of the European Parliament that a UN Parliament should be created, I suggest that during the European elections in the fifteen member countries of the Union, a Parliamentary Representative to the UN be elected by the people of each country. The elected member would be part of the Permanent Mission of his country to the United Nations. It would at least be a beginning. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 2 - Our Miraculous Planetary Home We should kiss nature more often, the Earth being our mother.  We are her children, one of her innumerable forms of life. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY Never be so focused on what you're looking for that you overlook the thing you actually find. ~ Ann Patchett More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org
