There are thrilling new fields open to the social sciences: global anthropology, global sociology, global psychology, global philosophy, global political, planetic science. They will help us better understand our new social relations and evolution, and thereby bring the Earth and humanity to unprecedented heights. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume III - The Seasons of Life Chapter 5 - Of Adulthood I was more myself when I was a child.  I could burst out with joy and also cry.  I was fascinated by everything.  I fell asleep at night, exhausted by the practice of life. Today, as an adult, I am a cross-section of many lives and thoughts.  I am a cross point of people, of very vast problems and time dimensions. I speak and write as an instrument of the universe, of the planet, of humanity and of life.  I am giving back what I have received.  I try to inspire others, as I am inspired myself.  Everyone will find in me an echo of himself or herself.  Perhaps the greatest virtue of adulthood is to inspire confidence and deep love for life. During your adulthood there comes a time when you must be born again, when you must find again the simplicity, resplendence and integrity of your childhood and the dreams of your youth. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY The progress of our soul is like a perfect poem. [GMW #2432] Foster Solutions of Global Problems with Generous Philanthropy & Gaiaphily

[GMW #2432] Foster Solutions of Global Problems with Generous Philanthropy & Gaiaphily Monday 9 April 2012, Editor: Easy | RobertMuller.org | Contact | Subscribe | Unsubscribe | Biography | World Core Curriculum | Store | NEW Facebook | Twitter | GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish | Tagalog | Dutch | Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 1001 to 1500 ~ Idea 1366 ~ 7 April 1998 Philanthropists and gaiaphilists should give priority to global philanthropy and gaiaphily to foster the solution of global problems, the most recent, unprecedented, urgent and potentially catastrophic, terminal ones. They should help the convening of major world conferences and the creation or strengthening of new, vitally needed global institutions and legislations. Thus, the University for Peace in Costa Rica was created with one million dollars donated by Ryoichi Sasakawa from Japan. He has his statue on the grounds of this first University for peace on this planet. Mr. Sasakawa also funded the yearly UNESCO Peace Education Prize. Ted Turner's philanthropy to the UN is also an example. Please philanthropists and gaiaphilists take inspiration from them. World philanthropy will give you maximum world visibility and enduring fame. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II Chapter 12 - Of Forgiveness ohn Denver, the famous American singer and humanist, once stopped in Costa Rica and visited me in my modest farmhouse on Mt. Rasur. He was undertaking a world tour to sing for hope to young people. At one point he left the terrace where we were sitting to go inside the house. He took some time to come back and said to me: "Dear Robert, you have rendered me a great service." I expressed surprise and he said: "I read your poem Decide to Forgive affixed on a wall. It has rendered me a great service. I was desperate because my Australian wife left me and returned to her country with our little daughter. I was crushed. Your poem gave me the answer: I forgive her and will continue to love her." [GMW #2176] Global Nurturing Of Nature And God's Creation Replacing Global Sins

When national leaders and chief executive officers of businesses will appear before God's tribunal, they will be condemned not for classical sins but for new global sins against nature and God's Creation. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,   Volume II Chapter 4 - Of Positive Living We must look beyond what we see, what we read and what we hear.  We must look beyond what we know and what we are.  Our entire life must be one long positive beyonding of ourself.  There should be a science of individual futurology, growth and beyonding UN News Sources - UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service , UN Wire News Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children, Women, Indigenous People To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Daily Ray of Hope Photo Credit: Kerry Hawkins Location: Jamaica Plain, MA One touch of nature makes the whole world kin. -- William Shakespeare Books recommended by Robert are here.
