What are we waiting for? One way would be for more countries to follow the example of Hawaii and join the United States which would then become the United World with a world-wide democratic government and indispensable institutions for welfare, justice, peace for all and a well-preserved planet. No nuclear missiles, armaments and militaries would be needed anymore, only a United World Peace Agency and Police. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I Chapter 5 The Miracle of Individual Life From INTRODUCTION of PART V IDEAS 3401 TO 3500 Preface to a statement by a Coalition for the Children of the Earth submitted to the fiftieth anniversary of the United Nations Your life is what you decide to make it.... Decide to be peaceful. Decide to be healthy. Decide to be thankful. Decide to dream. Decide to forgive. Decide to do a good action every day and write it down Decide never to be negative. Decide never to give up. Decide to be a global citizen. Decide to be the happiest person on Earth. I decided to be peaceful and people like me more. I decided to have a dream and it made me richer. I decided never to give up and my dreams came true. I decided to do good actions every day and I wrote them down. I decided always to be cheerful, even in prison and it helped me out of the worst situations. I decided to love the UN as my mother and the UN has been greater for it. I decided to be the happiest person on Earth and I am the happiest person on Earth. These are my rules. [GMW #2424] A Woman as UN Secretary General for the Interests of Humanity and Earth

[GMW #2424] A Woman as UN Secretary General for the Interests of Humanity and Earth Wednesday 28 March 2012, Editor: Easy | RobertMuller.org | Contact | Subscribe | Unsubscribe | Biography | World Core Curriculum | Store | NEW Facebook | Twitter | GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish | Tagalog | Dutch | Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 1001 to 1500 ~ Idea 1333 ~ 5 March 1998 Similarly, the question of the selection and election of the UN Secretary General should be reviewed in the new historical circumstances prevailing on the eve of a new century and millennium. The first Secretaries General were from neutral countries: Norway, Sweden, Burma and Austria. China, in view of its change of policy, ensured the election of a Latin American for two terms and thereafter of two Africans for one term each. The following new approaches are relevant: 1. true global citizens should be considered for the position i.e. individuals who have the experience and passion for the interests of Humanity and of the Earth above the interests of nations; 2. after seven male Secretaries General a woman should be elected; 3. each candidate should make a declaration of their ideals and intentions during their mandate; 4. all members of the Security Council and of the General Assembly should be informed of the names and biographies of all candidates, to have at least an idea who is considered by the five Permanent Members of the Security Council. In order to open up these questions I have written First Lady of the World in which a woman becomes Secretary General of the UN. I presented my own global candidacy and issued a declaration of intentions if elected (see pages 8 and 9 of the first 5000 ideas). At least the election of a woman Secretary General is now wide open. The next Secretary General will almost certainly be a woman. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II Chapter 12 - Of Forgiveness A simple but basic cosmic law: you forgive, thus improving the functioning of the planetary cosmos and the heavens. The recompense of the cosmos will be to forgive you too. Your forgivings will remain ingrained in the cosmos for all time.
