Go with them and live on a farm to help them survive when the dismal political and economic systems of this planet will collapse.  Some families are beginning to do it. Demilitarized Costa Rica is one of their selected places. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 4 - Our Place in Time Suppose the universe is producing innumerable stars - like a tree produces innumerable seeds, like a fish lays innumerable eggs - and heats innumerable planets for billions of years until one of them produces a miracle:  life, matter and energy become life of ever more complex and marvelous forms!  What a responsibility that would mean for us!  What a change of politics, attitudes and values it would demand! * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women,IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a great battle. ~ Ian MacLaren More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

[GMW #4044] Improve The Planet And Make It A Better Place To Live In

[GMW #4044] Improve The Planet And Make It A Better Place To Live In Friday 15 June, 2018, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store |Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000 ~ Idea 4437 ~ Some people tell me that they do not want to help save the planet, they want to improve it, and make it a better place to live in. They are right. We have a good example here on our farm in Costa Rica: Francisco, our caretaker constantly wants to improve the farm, to beautify it by planting fruit trees to nourish birds, wild animals and the monkeys in the primeval forest and planting flower bushes which attract butterflies. He has transformed our finca into one of the most beautiful farms in the region. We are constantly surprised by the new improvements he introduces. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 1 Our Place in the Universe Chapter 1 Our Place in the Universe Decide to Aggrandize Yourself     to the vastness of the universe     to the greatness of God     to the beauty of Creation     to the genius of humanity     to the magnificence of our planet        to the unique treasure you are.     Aggrandize your mind     Aggrandize your heart     Aggrandize your soul Extend all your senses     to the stars in heaven     to the beauty of the Earth     to the potential of the human race     to the infinity of your inner life. And you will become the universe     You will become Creation     You will become humanity     You will become infinity     You will at long last be your real         divine, miraculous self         in total communion with all there is         in heaven and on Paradise Earth. Then you will contribute your peace and happiness     to our miraculous humanity and well-preserved,     heavenly planet in the universe. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Daily Ray of Hope Photo by Harry H. [GMW #3961] Survival Of Earth And Humanity Requires Ending Wars & Violence

[GMW #3961] Survival Of Earth And Humanity Requires Ending Wars & Violence Tuesday 20 February, 2018, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store |Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000 ~ Idea 4354 ~ Living on a farm one cannot help noticing the differences between male cocks and female hens. While the hens are all the time loving and caring for their little ones, the cocks only brag, display their superiority and exercise violence toward the hens, even when making love with them. Perhaps that difference between males and females characterizes all animal species including the human one. Males were probably created by nature to fight for and protect the females, a characteristic which has degenerated into wars and all sorts of violent behaviors. The survival of the Earth and of humanity now requires the contrary. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 6 - I and Creation I sometimes think that societal thinking and hierarchies should be turned downside up: on top should be all human individuals, their families and the Earth; below them should be all the entities created by humans for good or for wrong or for historical reasons:  groups, institutions, nations, governments, religions, associations, corporations, international organizations, etc. This second group should be the servants, the instruments of individuals and families and the Earth. Individuals, families should never be the instruments, the servants of the former, which nowadays alas is all too often the case. And the Earth should not be considered as a mere object good enough only for exploitation by all these institutions. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY Although the world is full of suffering, it is full also of the overcoming of it. ~ Helen Keller More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

[GMW #3820] World Climate Requires Quick Actions - Starting 2001

[GMW #3820] World Climate Requires Quick Actions - Starting 2001 Monday 07 Aug, 2017, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store |Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000 ~ Idea 4215 ~ August 2001 Returning to Costa Rica after two months in the United States I noticed the absence of the usual daily heavy rains during the prevailing rainy season. A lake on our farm, which replenishes every rainy season and a beautiful brook we have along our property, are both completely dry. I have never seen this during the past six years. Francisco, our caretaker, confirmed that this was unprecedented in Costa Rica. So far there had been only three heavy rainfalls since the beginning of the rainy season while traditionally it rains strongly every day. The local population places the blame on the Niño current which is undergoing changes as a result of climatic changes. I told him that when I was at the UN we received in the 1970's letters from scientists who pressed us to convene a world conference on climatic changes. They predicted that the world would suffer from very fundamental ones. I was instrumental in convening a first World Conference on the Climate in 1979. I will never forget the prediction of the scientists that around the year 2020 all major ocean currents on this planet, including the Niño will change direction and that it would take a long time to see them return to their current course. It was even doubtful that they ever would. It is only now, in the year 2001 that the world's governments recognize that we are facing a world climate problem. Let us hope that this recognition will be quickly followed by actions. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume III - The Seasons of Life Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth Sometimes I would like to live on this Earth as a saint or as a spirit, but my body is too heavy.  Perhaps when my soul will be liberated from my body I will remain on Earth as a spirit.  Perhaps that is the will of God or of evolution. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Daily Ray of Hope Photo by Jim Maloney | The Metolius River, a tributary of the Deschutes River in Central Oregon Forests, lakes, and rivers, clouds and winds, stars and flowers, stupendous glaciers and crystal snowflakes - every form of animate or inanimate existence, leaves its impress upon the soul of man. ~ Orison Swett Marden More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org
