Number one: a World Commission of Eminent Personalities on Global Governance met under the chairmanship of Mr. Ingvar Carlsson, former Prime Minister of Sweden and recommended, "that the UN General Assembly should agree to hold a World Conference on Governance in 1998 with its decisions to be ratified and put into effect by 2000. That will allow more than two years for the preparatory process." But no action was taken by the UN General Assembly on this recommendation and on the substantive report of the Carlsson Commission. Number two: the General Assembly of Heads of State in 2000 had the following task on its agenda, "to focus on means to solve our primary global problems and to reform the means of global governance in order to meet the challenges of the 21st century."  Again the General Assembly did nothing.  The French newspaper Le Monde had a headline that not a single idea on this subject was advanced by any government during that summit General Assembly. The second world Heads of States Assembly in2002 in Johannesburg did not correct that situation. [GMW #3678] Focus On The World And Humanity Affairs For A Wonderful Planet For Everyone

[GMW #3678] Focus On The World And Humanity Affairs For A Wonderful Planet For Everyone Thursday 19 January, 2017, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store |Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000 ~ Idea 4073~ The overwhelming majority of people on this planet are concerned with national and group affairs. Few of them are concerned with the world and humanity affairs. No wonder that things are so wrong, chaotic and retarded. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume III - The Seasons of Life Chapter 5 - Of Adulthood In the end, there will be only one criterium: Was my life worthwhile? Was it a happy life? And since my life is made of many days, I must answer that question every day: Was it a happy day? The highest art is the way we live each day. When I was a child I wanted to touch the sky. During all my life I have never ceased wanting to touch the sky. An artist is given a canvas to paint and make a work of art. We are given by God something infinitely more precious: life. We must make a work of art of that divine gift. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY It is a wholesome and necessary thing for us to turn again to the Earth and in the contemplation of her beauties to know of wonder and humility. ~ Rachel Carson More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

[GMW #2772] Criticize Multinationals, Big Business That Are Harmful & Corrupt

[GMW #2772] Criticize Multinationals, Big Business That Are Harmful & Corrupt Monday 29 July 2013, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography | World Core Curriculum | Store | Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish | Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream -Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500 ~ Idea 3165 ~ Not all multinational big businesses should be criticized, only those who are harmful and corrupt.  For example, those who produce armaments, tobacco, alcohols, war and violence toys, etc.  Such a list should be firmly established. US and western citizens should not be forgotten because they place in the stock markets their savings and wealth looking for the maximum profit.  They too should be made aware and accountable for the current adverse situations in the world caused by some multinational corporations. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II Chapter 3 Of Consciousness Sharpen your vision, sharpen your thinking, sharpen your love, sharpen your soul. Universalize your vision, your thinking, your love, your spirit. Be the best focusing living being that ever was. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant. ~ Robert Louis Stevenson More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller'sGoodMorningWorld.org

[GMW #2736] Cosmic Light, Cosmic Energy, Cosmic Miracles

[GMW #2736] Cosmic Light, Cosmic Energy, Cosmic Miracles Friday 7 June 2013, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography | World Core Curriculum | Store | Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish | Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream -Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500 ~ Idea 3129 ~ The Earth: "Can't humans understand that my nature and species are incredible, perhaps unique miracles in the universe, the result of billions of years of evolution?  Your planet is nothing less than a cosmic miracle and you destroy it with big and small materialistic greeds, games and meaningless lives with unhappiness as the result.  You have not yet realized that you are cosmic miracles too." I: Among those who understood this was Dag Hammarskjöld the second Secretary General of the United Nations.  This is why he created at the UN a room of rest, peace and inner silence, a meditation room in which the universal answer to all world problems was a ray of light falling from the universe on the shining surface of a block of iron ore.  Cosmic light gives life to all matter and all beings.  It speaks to all nations and people the same language. Yes, our planet and all its living beings are created by cosmic energy, an energy still transmitted by the sun.  This is why we must look up to the sky, see the heavenly cosmic light, receive the rays of light and realize that we must reflect that light in our lives.  All religions give us that message, usually calling that energy God, thus bringing it closer to people, for it is easier to pray and love a God than a form of energy.  Energy is also a word coined by us humans.  The cosmos uses no words.  Perhaps no human word will ever be appropriate for it. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II Chapter 3 Of Consciousness Human senses and perceptions constantly range from the general to the particular.  The art of living is therefore largely an exercise in scanning and focusing our attention to become full universal beings. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY When we begin to believe that there is greater joy in working with and for others, rather than just for ourselves, then our society will truly become a place of celebration. ~ Jean Vanier More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller'sGoodMorningWorld.org
