Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II - The Art of Personal Happy Living Chapter 12 - Of Beauty and Arts Good art and good thinking are the most precious and enduring values of a collectivity. Glory passes. Wealth passes. Power passes. But art and wisdom do not pass. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women,Indigenous People To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY We do not need magic to transform our world, we carry all the power we need inside    ourselves already. [GMW #4146] World, Earth And People Protectors Service Replacing Military Forces

[GMW #4146] World, Earth And People Protectors Service Replacing Military Forces   Tuesday 06 Nov, 2018, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store |Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000 ~ Idea 4536 ~ The two most important, vital steps humanity could take would be to transform all militaries in the world into World Earth Protectors and Servants (WEPS) and all police forces into World People Protectors and Servants (WPPS). The two could be merged into a World, Earth and People Protectors Service (WEPPS). Individual nations could take these two steps nationally providing a good example to other countries. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 2 - Our Miraculous Planetary Home I am always astonished by the admiration of so many people for Ambassadors, Ministers, heads of government and state, etc.  They are just human beings.  Some are good and others are not.  Admiration of a title or function blinds the concern for the real value of the person. It might even prevent seeing the deeper realities: the nation-states of the world with all the pomp and glory of their rulers, generals, flags, anthems, armies, history, monuments, arts and literature often conceal the immensely more important beauty of the human family, of the Earth and of each human being. They make humanity look like a woman who would never be visible in her entirety, because attention is directed to over-ornamented, made-up parts. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY No one has ever become poor by giving. ~ Anne Frank More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

These ideas should be brought to the attention of all heads of states via internet or any other means. [GMW #2006] Ministries Of Peace Reform Security-Peace Of Planet From Scratch

[GMW #2006] Ministries Of Peace Reform Security-Peace Of Planet From Scratch Tuesday 20 July 2010, Editor: Easy | RobertMuller.org | Contact | Subscribe | Unsubscribe | Biography | World Core Curriculum | Store | Facebook | Twitter | GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish | Tagalog | Dutch | Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 1 to 500 ~ Idea 315 ~    21 May 1995 Hand in hand with my recommendation that all militaries of this planet should be suppressed or reconverted, there is also need for a conversion of the police of the world.  The whole security-peace structure of the planet should be rethought and reformed from scratch.  Militaries and polices should become peace-protectors and security agents.  In every country there should be a central Peace and Security Agency incorporating the former militaries and polices.  The Agency should be under the authority of the Prime Minister or of the Ministry of Peace which I recommend for each country.  At the world level, a World Peace and Security Agency with regional agencies should be created to guide, support and help coordinate the worldwide system. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,   Volume II Chapter 14 - Of Writing Javier Perez de Cuellar also once said to me: "Robert, I love your books.  I can open any one of them at any page.  After reading a few paragraphs, I put the book aside, because you have stimulated my thinking which then proceeds on its own line.  There is only one other author who does that to me:  Charles Proust.  I can open him at any page and he awakens my love for beauty." He added: "What I dislike most are those American best-sellers where you have to read hundreds of pages to find out what happens at the end.  They are a pure loss of time and life." UN News Sources - UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service , UN Wire News Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children, Women, Indigenous People To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. "This is the way of peace: Overcome evil with good, falsehood with truth, and hatred with love." She believed that world peace would come when enough people attained inner peace." One person, giving all their time to peace, makes news. Many people, giving some of their time, can make history. --Peace Pilgrim Remembering Peace Pilgrim: From 1953 to 1981, a silver-haired woman walked over 25,000 miles on a personal pilgrimage for peace. Crossing the United States seven times with nothing more than a toothbrush, some pamphlets, and a navy sweatshirt, she vowed to "remain a wanderer until humankind has learned the way of peace, walking until given shelter and fasting until given food." Leading a fairly ordinary life up through young adulthood, Mildred Norman Ryder died at 72 as "Peace Pilgrim": a woman who transformed everyone and everything along her path. This weekend, her hometown of Egg Harbor, New Jersey will celebrate her life and legacy in honor of her birthday on July 18.
