[GMW #4116] Progress - Not Building, Not Consuming, Not Traveling, Not Getting Richer, Not Growing

[GMW #4116] Progress - Not Building, Not Consuming, Not Traveling, Not Getting Richer, Not Growing   Tuesday 25 Sep, 2018, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store |Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000 ~ Idea 4506 ~ Looking down at Los Angeles from the air it struck me that perhaps the time has come when not growing, not building, not consuming, not getting richer, not traveling and transporting enormous quantities of things and innumerable people will be called progress. We must consider the Earth to be our real, biggest, essential, most valuable treasure.  Earthcapitalism should be the new ideology. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 2 - Our Miraculous Planetary Home Intellectual qualities are superior to physical qualities; moral qualities are superior to intellectual qualities; and spiritual qualities are the highest of all. This is borne out by our daily observations:  a person endowed with a good physique and a fine mind is superior to one having only a good body; a person who has also good moral qualities is superior to the former; and most admirable is he or she who has a good physique, a great intelligence, a good heart and a soul in communion with all humanity, with God and the universe. The same is true of any social group, from the family to the entire human race. Our present human family is still very imperfect because: - it has not yet assured good physical lives to all its 6 billion members: more than a billion still go hungry; - it has not yet provided for good mental lives for all: there are still 800 million illiterates; - it has not yet become a moral world: there are still many wars, injustices, inequalities, violence, hatred, lies, miseducation, misinformation, corruption and dishonesty on our planet; - it is not yet a spiritual world: we have mostly earthly, materialistic concerns and seldom lift our minds, hearts and souls to the universe and to the eternal stream of time. Humanity has still a good way to go. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY Great necessities call out great virtues. ~ Abigail Adams More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

They are too busy building, producing, buying and consuming and then they go on vacations, on tourism to see nature and real life in other countries. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 6 - I and Creation You can never consider yourself precious enough. But precious in a sense of being precious and of service to God, to the Earth and to humanity. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Daily Ray of Hope Photo by Dan Weisz | Tucson, Arizona Nothing contributes so much to tranquilize the mind as a steady purpose—a point on which the soul may fix its intellectual eye. ~ Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

[GMW #3263] Urgent Need For People's Ideas, Creativity & Inspiration

[GMW #3263] Urgent Need For People's Ideas, Creativity & Inspiration Thursday 18 June, 2015, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store | Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500 ~ Idea 3663 to 3667 ~ There is an urgent need for as many ideas from the consuming people as there are endlessly more from the producing, marketing, advertising and selling companies. There should be a consumercracy to balance corporatcracy, marketingcracy, advertisementcracy and sellingcracy. Here are a few added to the many already expressed earlier in these 4000 Ideas (see Indexes) and please dear consumer, add your own: ~ Idea 3663  Local stores should be created which sell exclusively national products and no foreign products, thus avoiding high transportation costs from foreign lands and the deterioration of food products with time. I saw in a giant supermarket in Santa Barbara thirty different foreign cheeses offered, practically no American cheeses and their prices were very high. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II The Art of Personal Happy Living Chapter 8, Of Health The World Health Organization has proclaimed the holding each year of a World Non-Smoking Day (31 May). We need also a World No-Alcohol Day and a World Happiness Day. In reality, every day of the year should be a non-smoking, non-alcohol and happy day. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children, Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Heart Math "When you really want change, reinforcement will come from your heart." ~ Doc Childre and Deborah Rozman, Ph.D. More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

[GMW #2690] Spirtualizing Society - Airlines Close To Stop Destroying The Atmosphere

[GMW #2690] Spirtualizing Society - Airlines Close To Stop Destroying The Atmosphere Thursday 4 Apr 2013, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography | World Core Curriculum | Store | Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish | Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream -Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500 ~ Idea 3083 ~    We live basically in a de-spiritualized, hyper-materialized, industrialized, commercialized, marketed and advertised consuming society.  Where will this lead us? I wish that one airline would have the courage to announce its closing because it is destroying the atmosphere.  I wish that many industries and commercial firms would do the same.  The reason of the Earth must replace the reason of state, of profit and of purely materialistic motives on her surface. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II Chapter 2 Of Happiness There exists no theory, no science, no philosophy, no art of human happiness on this planet, from individual happiness to the happiness of humanity, through the happiness of families, communities, cities, regions, nations, continents, religions and cultures.  This most important subject has been utterly neglected.  I hope that my example and efforts will put it on the map. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. THE CODE FOR GLOBAL ETHICS Prometheus Books,  2010,  300 p., April 1,  2010 [Hardcover ISBN: 978-1616141721] Rodrigue Tremblay (Author) CONTENTS INTRODUCTION - THE ETHICAL INFRASTRUCTURE OF ANY SOCIETY CHAPTER 1 - DIGNITY AND EQUALITY: -PROCLAIM THE NATURAL DIGNITY AND EQUALITY OF ALL HUMAN BEINGS CHAPTER 2 - RESPECT: -RESPECT LIFE AND PROPERTY CHAPTER 3 - TOLERANCE: -SHOW TOLERANCE AND OPEN-MINDEDNESS TOWARDS OTHERS: THE EMPATHY PRINCIPLE CHAPTER 4 - SHARING: -SHARE WITH THE LESS FORTUNATE AND THOSE IN NEED CHAPTER 5 - NO DOMINATION: -DO NOT DOMINATE AND EXPLOIT OTHERS THROUGH LIES, OR THROUGH SPIRITUAL OR TEMPORAL POWER CHAPTER 6 -NO SUPERSTITION: -RELY ON REASON AND LOGIC AND AVOID SUPERSTITIONS CHAPTER 7 -CONSERVE AND IMPROVE THE EARTH'S NATURAL ENVIRONMENT CHAPTER 8 - NO WAR: -DO NOT RESORT TO VIOLENCE OR TO WARS CHAPTER 9 - DEMOCRACY: -ADOPT POLITICAL AND ECONOMIC DEMOCRACY CHAPTER 10 - EDUCATION: -DEVELOP ONE'S INTELLIGENCE AND TALENTS THROUGH EDUCATION AND EFFORT CHAPTER 11 -IMPLEMENTING MORAL BEHAVIOR AND THE SOCIAL CONTRACT CONCLUSION -THE FUTURE OF HUMANKIND More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller'sGoodMorningWorld.org
