Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II - The Art of Personal Happy Living Chapter 4 - Of Spirituality After the subjects of love and happiness, spirituality seemed to me so important that I devoted an entire book to it: "New Genesis, Shaping a Global Spirituality", and wrote a chapter, The UN and Spirituality" in "My Testament to the UN". At the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago in 1993 it was a great honor for me to be the opening speaker, to write the preface to the Sourcebook for the Parliament and to outline a vision of a spiritual world in the year 2013, twenty years after the session of the Parliament. (See Volume III, pages 93 - 100 of my 5000 Ideas and Dreams for a Better World.) My speech led to the creation of the United Religions Initiative a founding step to the United Religions Organization. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women,IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY That old saying about opportunity only knocking once is as archaic as the flat-earth theory and as patently untrue. Opportunity knocks all the time — and it rings your doorbell, calls you up, and sends you e-mails. ~ Victoria Moran More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

[GMW #3992] Create A World Union With A Representative Parliament

But then, as I receive so many letters from people who have created new movements for a better world under so many names I come to the conclusion that governments will finally get together to make it a better world. The cold war with Russia is gone. China is a member of the United Nations so there will be no cold war with that country. A European Union without borders between fifteen countries has been created. Well, let us follow these good examples and create as quickly as possible a World Union. A good beginning would be the creation of a Parliament of the United Nations as recommended by the European Parliament. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 1 Our Place in the Universe The Earth is a solar child.  All life on it derives from the sun.  Ancient cultures which worshiped the sun were not wrong. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Daily Ray of Hope Photo by Andrew Renkert | Canadian geese at the Kenai Wildlife Refuge in Kenai, Alaska Courage is the price that Life exacts for granting peace, The soul that knows it not, knows no release, From little things; Knows not the livid loneliness of fear Nor mountain heights where bitter joy can hear The sound of wings. ~ Amelia Earhart More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 6 - I and Creation I am among the first humans who has dealt during an entire adult life with the whole Earth and humanity.  This gives me an awesome responsibility.  It makes me quite an instrument of God and evolution.  There will be millions like me tomorrow.  They will judge if some of what I felt, said, wrote, and did was close to the truth, and if some of what I predicted became reality. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Daily Ray of Hope Photo by Ariele Foster | Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Alaska Land, then, is not merely soil; it is a fountain of energy flowing through a circuit of soils, plants and animals. ~ Aldo Leopold More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

[GMW #3956] Nurture Optimistic World - Create Office Of Ideas And Dreams For A Better World

This could be a turning point from the current pessimistic outlooks of the future of the Earth and of humanity to positive, optimistic ones. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 6 - I and Creation Einstein tells us that nothing can be faster than the speed of light, namely 300,000 kms, 186,000 miles per second. He is wrong. My thoughts and my soul are infinitely faster: I can be on a far away galaxy and embrace the starry sky within split seconds. I can also go backward and forward in time, which light cannot. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY Today, more than ever before, life must be characterized by a sense of Universal responsibility, not only nation to nation and human to human, but also human to other forms of life. ~ His Holiness the Dalai Lama More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org
