[GMW #3830] Large City Dwellers Move To Rural Lands To Live With Less Pollutio

[GMW #3830] Large City Dwellers Move To Rural Lands To Live With Less Pollutio Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4225 ~
Barbara called me this morning to say that she saw on television a survey of the biggest cities on Earth. It revealed that on the average 64,000 people die every year in each of them as a result of the exhausts from cars. Probably the big builders will now begin to give up the cities and become trillionaires by dispersing city-dwellers into rural lands.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume III - The Seasons of Life
Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth
"Look upon each day as a challenge, a test of courage. The pain will come in waves, some days more than on others for no apparent reason. Accept the pain. Do not suppress it. Never attempt to hide grief from yourself. Little by little, just as the deaf-mute, the blind and the handicapped, you will develop with time an extra sense to balance the disability, you will find new strength, new visions born from the very pain and loneliness that seemed impossible to master.

We know, we must face it honestly, that life for us can never be the same again, but as the months pass, the seasons change, something of tranquillity descends, and although the well-remembered footstep will not sound again, nor will the voice call from the room beyond, there seems to be about one in the air an atmosphere of love, a living presence.... This feeling is simply there, pervading all thought, all action. When Christ, the healer, said "Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted," He must have meant just this." ~Daphne Du Maurier

[GMW #3829] Live As Long As Possible Nurturing Peace And A Better World

[GMW #3829] Live As Long As Possible Nurturing Peace And A Better World Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4224 ~
I just wrote this note to keep in front of me on my desk at the University For Peace: "My first, absolute priority is to live as long as possible in order to work as long as possible for peace and a better world."

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume III - The Seasons of Life
Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth
O God, how could you let someone as miraculous and beautiful as was my beloved wife die?
God:
"You would be worse off if I had not allowed both of you to live, to love each other and to labor for a better world."

You have always an answer.
"Yes, this is why I am God.  And I remind you: you can continue to live with her in the spiritual realm while living on Earth with a new, very specially selected new wife, heavenly Barbara."

[GMW #3828] A Wonderful, Miraculous Planet Earth With A Foolish Species

[GMW #3828] A Wonderful, Miraculous Planet Earth With A Foolish Species Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4223 ~
Imagine that you are an outer space being who lands on a planet Earth without humans, only with an incredible variety of seas, oceans, mountains, valleys, forests, nature, animals and deserts. You would say: what a wonderful, miraculous place this is!

And then imagine landing on it and seeing its monstrous cities, skyscrapers, roads, airports, cars, planes, yachts, military camps, etc. What a disappointing, non-logical, not harmonious planet that would be. And imagine that in addition you would learn that the humans who are the cause of all this have borders, armies, and thousands of nuclear bombs ready to destroy millions of people and most of nature. Then you would say that this is a planet inhabited by a crazy, abnormal, foolish species. And you would never return.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume III - The Seasons of Life
Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth
My beloved life companion Margarita did not want me to suffer or to be sad at her departure, but to continue relentlessly to work for peace and a better world. She left me physically, but not mentally, sentimentally and spiritually.  A second union has started between us: I, still for a while on Earth, and she in heaven, in the mysterious realm of the invisible, spiritual world. I often report to her in writing and orally at her tomb where from one can see the Margarita and Robert Muller Peace Park, its sacred Mt. Rasur, and Mt. Margarita. I place on her tomb my most important letters and proposals, asking her to intercede with God, the saints and the departed peacemakers of this world. Thus she continues to give me her love, happiness and inspiration, pending our reunion in heaven which we will spend together doing more good on Earth.

Fritjof Capra: We're All In This Together
"At the forefront of contemporary science, the universe is no longer seen as a machine composed of elementary building blocks.

We have discovered that the material world is a network of inseparable patterns of relationships; that the planet as a whole is a living, self-regulating system."

In this article from Resurgence & Ecologist magazine, Fritjof Capra gives an overview of "systemic thinking," the scientific view of the world as network, instead of machine. Rather than looking at fixed parts and components, the focus is on the living world's relationships, patterns, and context. At once, there is stability and change, death and regeneration, in weblike patterns of organization.

Cognition is said to be found within all self-perpetuating activities, thereby adding mind into the mix.

The way to fix world problems, asserts Capra, is through systemic solutions. Read on for more of this compelling theory. { read more }

[GMW #3827] The Artisan Of My Happiness And Sanity - The Contrast Of Peace And War

[GMW #3827] The Artisan Of My Happiness And Sanity - The Contrast Of Peace And War Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4222 ~
Looking back at my life I can say that to a large extent I have been through war and peace the main artisan of my happiness and sanity.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume III - The Seasons of Life
Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth
Since we do not know what death really means, we should preferably use the word 'afterlife' which is more positive. UNESCO or the World Health Organization should collect the words for death in all languages of the world and create a science of afterlife.

[GMW #3826] Add To The Group Of 14 Demilitarized Countries

[GMW #3826] Add To The Group Of 14 Demilitarized Countries Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4221 ~
I would also like to repeat my old recommendation in 1994 that all fourteen (now fifteen) demilitarized countries of the world should create a group of demilitarized countries at the United Nations and show others how demilitarization can be achieved and what immense benefits they derive from it. For list of the demilitarized countries and twelve more countries that have no armies but defense arrangements with another country, see Volume I, Idea 20. The two latest demilitarized countries are Panama and Haiti, thanks to the efforts of Oscar Arias, former President of Costa Rica.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume III - The Seasons of Life
Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth
I am often thanked for my lifetime contributions to peace and to a better world.  But I must plan my postlife contribution too, which will be much longer.

I pray God to allow me to work after life, God might allow me to do so. I wish to help the saints up there with my recent experiences and knowledge of the Earth. I will need the prayers of many people after my life. I want to be invisibly in the office of every head of state, needling them to make peace, to be just and good to the people, and to become the new saints of paradise Earth!

WORD FOR THE DAY
The future is not some place we are going, but one we are creating. The paths are not to be found, but made. And the activity of making them changes both the maker and their destination.
