[GMW #4495] Allow Other Species To Thrive Too - End Over Consumption & Overpopulation

[GMW #4495] Allow Other Species To Thrive Too - End Over Consumption & Overpopulation Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000

~ Idea 4881 ~
Among the 'what we should do' and 'what we should not do' regarding Mother Nature, this thought has occurred to me:

The beauty of flowers, their fragrance is to attract pollination to produce seeds for further life.
The beauty of human women plays the same role.
But when there is too much reproduction of a species the pollination must be reduced if not prevented.

The human species is ending or dangerously reducing other species through its overpopulation and overconsumption.
From the point of view of nature we must therefore decide to have less children and to consume less in order not to destroy the Earth, other species and disturb further evolution.

Chapter 7 - Of Optimism

Optimism is simply optimum living.
And who does not want to live an optimum life?

The marvelous richness of human experience would lose something of rewarding joy if there were no limitations to overcome. The hilltop hour would not be half so wonderful if there were no dark valleys to traverse.

[GMW #4494] Widely Publish Collections Of Concrete Ideas And Dreams For A Better World Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000

~ Idea 4880 ~
To authors who want to see results from their writings I relate this experience which might be useful:

A US lady who heads a Foundation for Education through Entertainment in Washington, paid me a visit at the University for Peace in Costa Rica. She said that she had read and reread my book New Genesis and found herself in great agreement with me. She then opened a notebook on which she had copied a good number of ideas from my 4000 ideas and discussed them with me at length. Her main query was the following,

"What could be done by the world of entertainment, by great artists, by movie producers, by poets to make a better world and save humanity from extinction?" Our exchanges lead to a concrete result:

I suggested to her the creation of a World Commission of Eminent Artists and Entertainers to give humanity their vision of a peaceful, happy Mother Earth and loving humanity. She accepted this idea with great enthusiasm. I hope that it will be implemented.

Conclusion: Any general book can normally lead only to a general feeling, but a collection of very concrete ideas and dreams can lead to concrete results. It would be good therefore if on this Earth a new literary genre could be devoted to ideas and dreams for a better world. This applies also to the more than thirty thousand international private associations, many of them accredited as non-governmental organizations to the United Nations.

Widely published concrete ideas and dreams might be a great new tool for the attainment of a better world.

I am sometimes called an 'astonishing optimist'. What is so astonishing about being an optimist? Is not life itself an astonishing proof of the Creator's incredible, endless optimism and patience?

Slow down and enjoy life.
It's not only the scenery you miss by going too fast
- you also miss the sense of where you are going and why.

If you do not look at least once a day to the sky, to the stars, to God, to a flower or the face of a person you love, you have not really lived and exercised the marvelous ministry of life entrusted to you by God.

Perhaps the secret of living well
is not in having all the answers
but in pursuing unanswerable questions
in good company.

Depending how we look at it,
it is always the best of all times and the worst of all times.
In my view it is always the best of all times to do better.
