[GMW #4008] Think Big For The World With Mind, Heart and Soul

[GMW #4008] Think Big For The World With Mind, Heart and Soul Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4401 ~
To think small in the United Nations should be considered a professional fault. To think big must be the rule. When the dimension of problems increases so immensely the human being must also increase the dimension of his mind.

UN officials should all have king-size brains, hearts and souls.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume I The great Scene of Creation
Chapter 1 Our Place in the Universe

Remark of a little boy to his mother when he came home from a Robert Muller school:
"Mammy, did you know that we are living in heaven?"

Every head of state and every human being should remember this and derive from it a deep joy and sense of responsibility.

WORD FOR THE DAY
Your vision will become clear only
when you can look into your own heart.
Who looks outside, dreams;
who looks inside, awakes.

[GMW #3668] We Are Human Beings First - Construct Human Society On This Fundamental Basis

[GMW #3668] We Are Human Beings First - Construct Human Society On This Fundamental Basis Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4063 ~
We had eyes, ears and brains long before we had passports and a nationality. Long before being Americans, Russians, Chinese or whatever, we were human beings. The human society must be reconstructed on that fundamental basis.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume III - The Seasons of Life
Chapter 5 -
Of Adulthood

Adulthood, from about 25 to 60 years, twice the length of childhood and of the old age, must be accompanied by pride: the pride to make an optimum contribution to human evolution and ascent, to produce one's seeds and fruits, to create new life and to prepare well the next generation in the chain of life.  All other objectives must be contributing elements to that function and ideal.

[GMW #2950] Major World Conference On Planetary Resources

[GMW #2950] Major World Conference On Planetary Resources
Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500
~ Idea 3344 ~
As early as 1974 I recommended that the best brains of the planet should consider the effects of the arrival of billions of more humans and foresee great regional planning conferences for all continents leading to a major world conference on the planet's resources and the humanity to be accommodated. It never took place.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume I Chapter 5 The Miracle of Individual Life
Every human being is unique and precious. My father the hatmaker was as precious as Jesus, Mozart and Shakespeare. This is what Jesus, Mozart and Shakespeare were trying to tell us!

Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 1 to 500
~ Idea 1299 ~    30 January 1998

On this anniversary day of the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi, a Season of Non-violence in the World was opened until 4 April 1998, anniversary of the assassination of Martin Luther King.  We held memorial services at the Monument of Peace and at the Gandhi monument of the UN University for Peace, during which I gave my views on how to achieve in the next century a civilization of non-violence.  I also distributed the following text:

University for Peace
30 January 1998
WORLD SEASON FOR NON-VIOLENCE
30 January to 4 April 1998
in memory of
Mahatma Gandhi
and
Martin Luther King
Create Global Awareness of the
Need to Forgive

Jesus on the cross asked the Father in heaven to forgive those who crucified him.

Mahatma (the Great Soul) Gandhi, as he was shot in his garden, on the way to prayer, exclaimed: "O God, forgive him."

Pope John Paul II went to the prison cell to pray with his intended assassin.

Nelson Mandela, when he was inaugurated president of South Africa, had his jailer at his side on the platform during the ceremony.

Martin Luther King said: "Do to us what you will, and we shall continue to love you."

Permit me to give you my exhortation "Decide to Forgive" and to tell you two anecdotes related to it.
Decide to Forgive
For resentment is negative
Resentment is poisonous
Resentment diminishes
and devours the self.

Be the first to forgive,
to smile and to take
the first step,
And you will see happiness bloom
On the face of your human brother
or sister,

Be always the first
Do not wait for others
to forgive

For by forgiving
You become the master of fate
The fashioner of life
The doer of miracles.

To forgive is the highest,
most beautiful form
of love.
In return you will receive
untold peace
and happiness.

- Robert Muller

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume II Chapter 4 - Of Positive Living
The Wizard of Oz to the Tin-man:
Believe in yourself,
right from the start,
And you will have brains,
you'll have a heart,
You'll have courage to last
your whole life through.

"Everyone can be great because anyone can serve. You don't have to have a college degree to serve. You don't even have to make your subject and verb agree to serve...You only need a heart full of grace, a soul generated by love."
