[GMW #4445] Optimistic Retired World Leaders and Visionaries Share Their Wisdom, Ideas & Dreams

[GMW #4445] Optimistic Retired World Leaders and Visionaries Share Their Wisdom, Ideas & Dreams Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4831 ~

Humans who have worked in high positions in the world are usually pessimists when they are old and consider that they have not reached their lofty objectives. This is a great pity because that is a time when the world still needs their wisdom, ideas and unfulfilled dreams.

At the age of close to eighty I am sometimes pessimistic too, feeling that I have not fulfilled my high objectives. But I react, write and publish ever more ideas for a better world. And I have the pleasant surprise and recompense that quite a few of them are being implemented!

Yes dear retired leaders of nations and of great institutions, for heaven's sake write down and publish your ideas and dreams. Let us create a World Association of Optimistic Retired World Leaders and Visionaries.

Chapter 5 - Of Love

I would like to see world competitions for peace, for love, for happiness, for goodness, for philanthropy, and for spirituality, instead of the current sea of dominating competition for profit, for money and wealth.

Listen to the Mustn'ts, child,
listen to the Don'ts.
Listen to the Shouldn'ts,
the Impossibles, the Won'ts.
Listen to the Never Haves,

then listen close to me.
Anything can happen, child,
Anything can be.

[GMW #4035] We Badly Need A Science Of Admirology, A Science Of Enviability To Help Us Get Our Admirations And Envies Straight

[GMW #4035] We Badly Need A Science Of Admirology, A Science Of Enviability To Help Us Get Our Admirations And Envies Straight Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4428 ~
Wealth and power are ways and means of entity promotion, of being envied and admired by others. The bigger the wealth or power, the larger our admiration and envy are supposed to be. This is no longer right and should be seriously studied. We should learn to get our admirations and envies straight. We should not admire people who became wealthy through unethical business. We should not admire bad leaders of nations or heads of armies killing other human beings wholesale to be victorious and gain more power and territory. We badly need a science of admirology and a science of enviability. There is optimism of thinking. There is optimism of loving. There is optimism of action. There is optimism of the soul.

Beautiful, satisfying music required the search for the laws of harmony.  Similarly, a beautiful, happy human society will require the search for the laws of harmony of the Earth and of the universe.  This will be the role of tomorrow's universal, human and Earth preserving, embellishing government.

[GMW #3990] Nurture Earth's Bio-Diversity

[GMW #3990] Nurture Earth's Bio-Diversity Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4383 ~
I asked a colleague from the Earth Council who returned from a meeting of the leaders of the World Wildlife Fund what their conclusions were. He made a serious face and said, "It is very sad. The general conclusion was that planet Earth is losing its bio-diversity. We continue to destroy a species on the average every five hours." Yes, indeed, how sad this is, especially when one thinks what marvels, what miracles most species' are and the millions of years it took the Earth to evolve them.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation
Chapter 1 Our Place in the Universe
We are linked with everything in the heavens and on Earth.
And yet, like every blade of grass and grain of sand,
we are each unique and unrepeatable in all eternity.

What a wonder to be alive!

[GMW #3770] All Political Leaders Adopt Peace And Justice As The Topmost Priority

[GMW #3770] All Political Leaders Adopt Peace And Justice As The Topmost Priority   Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4165 ~
Reading in 2001 the journal of my six months mission to Cyprus in 1964 I wrote this after visiting some extraordinary, old, beautiful places of human civilization:

Sunday 1 November 1964 I think once again that life is too short to embrace all the beauty, all the wealth, all the treasures offered by this marvelous planet.

The twentieth century has finally opened to humans the vast spaces of the world and its most distant places.

But progress has been less rapid to increase the duration of human life, although here too successes have been achieved.

Should not all political leaders adopt peace and justice as the topmost priorities so that all living beings could enjoy the happiness, the miracle to live on planet Earth?

What treasures of life I will take along with me in eternity. What a gratitude I will express to God!

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume III - The Seasons of Life
Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth
Pray for a good, peaceful death during your sleep. Pray God to take you gently to Him when you are least conscious and have already half left this world, for instance during an out-of-the-body experience.
