The transformation of ourselves, the human species, by the adoption of new values, attitudes and behaviors: 2. The transformation of institutions such as the United Nations and the creation of newly needed or reformed institutions from the most local to the most global levels. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II - The Art of Personal Happy Living Chapter 4 - Of Spirituality What the United Nations needs most, what your world servants need most are your prayers and your faith. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women,Indigenous People To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY What you are, the world is. [GMW #4365] Transformation Nations States Into Cooperative World Democracies

[GMW #4365] Transformation Nations States Into Cooperative World Democracies Monday 09 September, 2019, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store |Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000 ~ Idea 4751 ~ Going through chronological files of my correspondence over the years I found copies of letters I sent to very high level personalities like heads of state or presidents of countries.  All these efforts have led to minimal success.  Those who are in power, who have the sovereignty and means to govern nations have made the world a place of their own. The mere soaring of the population of this planet from two and a half billion in the 1950's to more than six billion in 2000 and 8.9 billion in 2050 is an incredible irresponsibility of the human species, especially of leaders who say we cannot stop or influence the birth of children.  Even these 5000 ideas will have a minimal impact.  Looking over the entire post-war period when I worked for peace I see only two great successes: the concern for the environment and the creation of the European Union, the abolition of the borders between France, Germany and thirteen other European countries.  My greatest hope for the future is the transformation of the European Union into a World Union. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II - The Art of Personal Happy Living Chapter 5 - Of Love  Life is born from the ecstasy of love. That says a lot about the importance of love. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women,IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Daily Ray of Hope Photo by Michele Wesiz | Burrowing juvenile owl in Los Lunas, New Mexico I always like to look on the optimistic side of life, but I am realistic enough to know that life is a complex matter. ~ Walt Disney More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org Click on any of these tags-labels to see more entries from Robert that have the tag-label:

[GMW #4225] A Well Run Family - Model For Governance Of The World

[GMW #4225] A Well Run Family - Model For Governance Of The World Monday 25 February, 2019, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store |Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000 ~ Idea 4613 ~ On the road upward to social transformation of humanity we speak of cooperation, unitedness (United Nations, United Religions, etc.), union (European Union), associations, commons, federalism, and a few other terms. I am surprised that we do not use more often the natural word 'family'. I once asked an indigenous woman, "How would you govern the world as indigenous people?" She answered, "If you know how to run a family you know how to run the world." I have never forgotten that answer. The United Nations offers a precedent by calling the UN and its 32 specialized agencies and world programs the United Nations family of agencies. Let us follow that example and use more often the word family: the family of all nations, the European family of nations, the American family of nations, the family of world religions, the family of universities, the family of philanthropists, of environmentalists, the family of peace lovers and activists, the world family of non-governmental organizations, etc. It could have a beneficial, positive effect on a peaceful and better future of humanity on this planet. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living Volume II - The Art of Personal Happy Living Chapter 4 - On Positive Living Take a large city like New York or take the entire world. If in this immense mass of people one human being, held erect by the will to live, suddenly lets go, do you think that he will survive? No. The will to stay erect, the will to live and to be fully oneself is the single, most important force available to us. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women,IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Daily Ray of Hope Photo by Karole Erikson | Veterans Lake, Great Bend, Kansas I'm in no hurry: the sun and the moon aren't, either.
