This should be celebrated and given as an example to other countries. You should produce a yearly report on events which need to be recognized with thanks and gratitude and submit that report to the Secretary General of the UN for world-wide distribution. We have barely given any thanks for the end of colonization, of apartheid, of racial discrimination, of the cold war and other achievements.  What a negligence it was not to have celebrated world-wide these successes which were considered very unlikely, almost impossible to achieve. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II - The Art of Personal Happy Living Chapter 10 - Of Dreams, Visions and Ideals Do not let your enthusiasm and love for life be diminished by false humility: Yes, I am proud of myself, Yes, I am happy with my gifts and capacities, Yes, I exult with joy and happiness Yes, I am happy to inspire others Yes, I believe that I can aggrandize myself to untold extents Yes, I believe that I can change myself and the world. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women,IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY Stepping out of the busyness, stopping our endless pursuit of getting somewhere else, is perhaps the most beautiful offering we can make to our spirit. ~ Tara Brach More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org Click on any of these tags-labels to see more entries from Robert that have the tag-label:

[GMW #3080] Ending Military Genocide With intelligence, Ethics And Courage

[GMW #3080] Ending Military Genocide With intelligence, Ethics And Courage Monday 6 October 2014, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store |Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500 ~ Idea 3480 ~ How can any human be happy and proud to kill another, even many other human beings? Does this exist on our planet Earth? Yes, and wholesale. Those humans are called militaries. They even get medals and honors for it. How long will this last on a planet which had the intelligence, ethics and courage to suppress colonialism, slavery and racial genocide, killing whole groups of humans? Let us make military genocide a first target on our continued humane progress and evolution. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume  II Chapter 13 Of Speaking A new ambassador to the UN who heard me speak asked his neighbor: "Who is this guy?" The neighbor answered" "If you listen to him, he will give you work for the rest of your life." How right he was! * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY There is no surprise more magical than the surprise of being loved. ~ Charles Morgan More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org
