They remain hidden and far away from advertisement. Yes, there are 500 million gun dealers in the world, one for each ten inhabitants of this planet. How can we humans and our governments tolerate that? Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I The great Scene of Creation Chapter 1 Our Place in the Universe The instruments we use to "see" the infinitely large and the infinitely small are a function of our human senses and perceptions. We stand somewhere on the fathomless universal scale of distances and volumes, and we judge Creation and time from our point of view. In the universe, "great" and "small," "brief" and "long" may have no meaning. In the universe everything is probably equally important. Perhaps not even "to be or not to be" may be important. But I cannot conceive it. To me everything seems important on this planet. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY Be joyful, though you have considered all the facts. ~ Wendell Berry More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

[GMW #3880] Arrogance Is Bound To Provoke A Reaction

[GMW #3880] Arrogance Is Bound To Provoke A Reaction Monday 30 October, 2017, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store |Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000 ~ Idea 4275 ~ In the evening of Monday, 10 September 2001 Barbara and I arrived late at Newark Airport, from a global conference on global consciousness and spirituality in Canada. As we were driven by our daughter Solange to her home in Cold Spring in the Hudson Valley we saw for a good stretch the skyscrapers of Manhattan, especially the Empire State Building and the two tall towers of the World Trade Center, all lit up in the night. I was thinking: how can a country and a city be so arrogant and advertise their superiority, their imperial character, their being the center of world trade, with sky-scraping, insulting buildings like the Empire State Building and the World Trade Center? That arrogance is bound to provoke a reaction. Barbara and my daughter were surprised at my unusual silence during the entire car trip. It was one of my extra-sensory perceptions that something terrible was going to happen, but I did not know what. I only knew that it would not harm us, that we were not in danger. The following morning when we woke up we learned of the terror attack against the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. And when I told my story to Barbara's son, he commented that another building in Manhattan was to be destroyed, namely the Empire State Building. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 5 - The Miracle of Individual Life Life is divine.  Period. And this planet must be governed so that each individual life can be divine. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Daily Ray of Hope Photo by Beth Sargent | San Luis Obispo County, California I have grown tired of the articulate utterances of men and things. The Mystical in Art, the Mystical in Life, the Mystical in Nature this is what I am looking for. [GMW #3440] World Places Of Constant World Watch - For Observation & Remedy Of Global Issues

[GMW #3440] World Places Of Constant World Watch - For Observation & Remedy Of Global Issues Monday 22 February, 2016, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store |Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000 ~ Idea 3839 ~ There are so many daily problems besetting this planet and brought to the attention of humanity through the media that it is absolutely essential that the United Nations General Assembly meet in permanent, all year round session. It is no longer conceivable that it should meet only from the third week of September to Christmas. We need a world place of constant world watch, observation and remedy to the mounting global problems of this planet. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II The Art of Personal Happiness Chapter 3 - Of Consciousness Human senses and perceptions constantly range from the general to the particular. The art of living is therefore largely an exercise in scanning and focusing our attention to become full universal beings. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Daily Ray of Hope Photo by Victoria Morrow | Pismo Beach, California In character, in manner, in style, in all the things, the supreme excellence is simplicity. ~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

[GMW #3035] Model University Based On My World Core Curriculum

[GMW #3035] Model University Based On My World Core Curriculum Monday 4 August 2014, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store |Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500 ~ Idea 3429 ~ I hope that one day a really universal, updated, forward-looking modern model university will be created on this Earth, if possible next to the UN University for Peace and the Earth Council in Costa Rica. The university could be based on my World Core Curriculum (see table in Volume I) used so far only in elementary and secondary schools. It would provide the widest, most total, up to date structure of an educational institution in the entire human history so far. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume  II Chapter 13 Of Speaking Words are such feeble utterances and capsules to express our perceptions, feelings and dreams. O God, help us to reach far beyond what we are saying. Isn't it possible to unlock the ultimate mysteries, to become the clear, beautiful, inspiring voices of the forces of the universe? God: Yes, You can find this in silence, prayer and meditation. And then express it to your human brothers and sisters. It will come anyway in the next phase of human evolution. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY If we open our hearts, we will also find open heart  - it is always mutual. ~ Abbot Leo von Rudloff A Benedictine Legacy of Peace; The Life of Abbot Leo A.
