Here you can see the vast Pacific Ocean, the greatest of the two thirds of my water covered surface. What are you feeling?" I: I prefer the mountains, sacred Mt. Rasur and the UN University for Peace, which are closer to the heavens and have a purer air.  There one thinks constantly of one's future and of the future of humanity. Here, with all these hotels, motels, advertisements and eco-tourism one almost wishes that humans would cease growing in numbers. The Earth: "Well, it has started: the western population is expected to diminish by 40 million between now and the year 2050." Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 4 - Our Place in Time The time dimension of human disciplines varies enormously:  the exact sciences are generally very future oriented, while the social sciences usually relish with the past and with limited areas.  In order to foster the emergence of a global human family and prepare for proper Earth government we need more future oriented social sciences.  In particular we need: a global anthropology a global philosophy a global sociology a global psychology a global spirituality, etc. Margaret Mead used to say to her students: "Go and study the United Nations which is for young anthropologists today what New Guinea was during my youth." * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY We don’t have to wait for some grand utopian future. The future is an infinite succession of presents, and to live now as we think human beings should live, in defiance of all that is bad around us, is itself a marvelous victory. ~ Howard Zinn More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

[GMW #4003] World Code Of Ethics Of Peace - Warless - Nurturing Happiness

[GMW #4003] World Code Of Ethics Of Peace - Warless - Nurturing Happiness Thursday 19 April, 2018, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store |Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000 ~ Idea 4396 ~ We need a World Code of Ethics in which peace should occupy the predominant place: no wars, no killing other humans, no terrorism. We must absolutely become a warless, armamentsless, militariesless, terrorismless planet. What a relief, what a wonderful sunshine, what a deep, warm feeling of happiness this will create in the hearts of all humans!--- Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I The great Scene of Creation Chapter 1 Our Place in the Universe The spinning of our planet around the sun seems immense to us.  And yet, in the vast universe, the Earth is so small that it can barely be seen from the sun!  At a distance of a few light years, our planet becomes invisible, a mere speck of dust in the universe.  And yet, we are.  We are even a lot!  The cosmic microbe I am is able to be conscious of most of the universe, from the infinitely large to the infinitely small! * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY Gratefulness is the keeper of a happy heart. ~ Barbara Waque More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

[GMW #3886] Create Living Evolutionary Earth Governance

[GMW #3886] Create Living Evolutionary Earth Governance  Tuesday 07 November, 2017, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store |Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000 ~ Idea 4281 ~ How can the United States be so short-sighted and not use and develop the United Nations on its soil as the living evolutionary organization and building block for the future of the world? No, the US is blinded by its feeling of superiority, its power, the decision to be itself the sole builder and policeman of tomorrow's world. How this will backfire on it! Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 5 - The Miracle of Individual Life I similarly love the Hindu concept of Trikaldarshi: one who is able to live in the past, in the present and in the future. Humans are the only species which can do that. We are very advanced cosmic beings:  we try to comprehend the time dimension of the universe through paleontology, archaeology, history, current knowledge and futurology.  Each human group tends to do that from the individual family to humanity.  As a cosmic unit of perception, I can derive much happiness from my own trikaldarshism as well as from the trikaldarshism of the human society. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY In human relations one should penetrate to the core of loneliness in each person and speak to that. ~ Bertrand Russell More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org

[GMW #3812] Arts Can Contribute To A Spiritual, Cosmic Age

[GMW #3812] Arts Can Contribute To A Spiritual, Cosmic Age Wednesday 26 July, 2017, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store |Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000 ~ Idea 4207 ~ I have several times pointed out in my 4000 ideas that after the global age in which we find ourselves we will now move to a spiritual, cosmic age. I learned of the birth of a cosmic music, very beautiful, elevating, peaceful musical compact disks which one can play in the background, not listening to them but receiving a wonderful, heavenly, peaceful feeling as we continue to deal with our own occupations. They are so calming, so beautiful. Perhaps all the arts will now be called upon to contribute to the new cosmic age (see Table on Art and Culture, pg. 44 of Volume IV). [GMW #3616] Have & Write Down Ideas And Dreams For A Better World

[GMW #3616] Have & Write Down Ideas And Dreams For A Better World Tuesday 25 October, 2016, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store |Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000 ~ Idea 4011 ~ I recommend to as many humans as possible to write down their ideas and dreams for a better world. You will reap untold benefits from them. For example, at the age of seventy- eight I feel so young, first due to the happiness to have conceived my ideas, written them and published them, second because I still have a lot to do to implement them and third because still more new ideas come to me giving me the feeling that I still live a useful life. This prevents me from feeling old. Dear human brothers and sisters, please have ideas and dreams for a better world and write them down. You cannot imagine what joys, happiness, longevity and other rewards are expecting you. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume III - The Seasons of Life Chapter 3 - The Miracle of Childhood A human body constantly loses dead cells and produces new ones.  It is the same with humanity.  People die, replaced by new cells, our children, and humanity continues to live as one body. We must learn to be effective cells and part of that holistic body and raise and love well the new cells. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women, IndigenousPeople To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. WORD FOR THE DAY I think over again my small adventures, my fears, those small ones that seemed so big, all those vital things I had to get and to reach, and yet there is only one great thing: to live and see the great day that dawns, and the light that fills the world. ~ Old Inuit Song More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org
