This would strengthen democracy, since countries without a Parliament would not be represented. The UN can no longer be the exclusive "foreign" affairs of national executives. Parliamentarians must be more directly seized with the world's global problems and immense opportunities for more peaceful, efficient and economical world management. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II - The Art of Personal Happy Living Chapter 12 - Of Beauty and Arts Once an artist has reached the genius stage - the stage of divine enlightenment and rendering it through their talent - their life will be entirely immersed in art. An artist knows the uniqueness of their role and responsibility. There will be no limit to what they can dream and do. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women,Indigenous People To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Daily Ray of Hope Photo by Ralph Earlandson | Two northern fulmars in Baffin Bay between Baffin Island and Greenland Very brief is the time in which we can help them, in which their happiness or misery is decided. Be it ours to shed sunshine on their path, to lighten their sorrows by the balm of sympathy, to give them the pure joy of a never-tiring affection, to strengthen failing courage, to instill faith in times of despair. ~ Bertrand Russell More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org Click on any of these tags-labels to see more entries from Robert that have the tag-label:

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II - The Art of Personal Happy Living Chapter 12 - Of Forgiveness Art makes us co-creators with God. It is therefore a spiritual, divine activity. Art is perhaps the greatest, ultimate human fulfillment, apotheosis, the way to paradise Earth. * UN News: UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire Archive References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children,Women,Indigenous People To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Daily Ray of Hope So through endless twilights I dreamed and waited, though I knew not what I waited for. Then in the shadowy solitude my longing for light grew so frantic that I could rest no more, and I lifted entreating hands to the single black ruined tower that reached above the forest into the unknown outer sky. And at last I resolved to scale that tower, fall through I might; since it were better to glimpse the sky and perish, than to live without even beholding day ~ H.P.
