Idea 4862 ~
Seen from the
skies the
overconstructed,
overcrowded
cities down
here on Earth
do not seem as
desirable as
they may be on
Earth. They
look rather
like unlivable
places,
harmful to the
Earth,
deprived of
meaning and
nature. And to
think that
people are
ready to pay
big sums of
money to rent
or buy very
expensive
housings in
such horrible
cities. How
is such a
thing
possible?

We
don’t have to
wait for some
grand utopian
future. The
future is an
infinite
succession of
presents, and
to live now as
we think human
beings should
live, in
defiance of
all that is
bad around us,
is itself a
marvelous
victory.
