[GMW #3943] Militaries Transformed Into Protectors Of Nature & People

[GMW #3943] Militaries Transformed Into Protectors Of Nature & People Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4336 ~ 110
When there is talk about demilitarization of countries one should not forget that by far the best solution is to propose to the militaries productive, useful employments.

When I once talked to a Honduran General who with his men was surrounding a refugee camp of Nicaraguans, he said that if they were suppressed and would be getting jobs to reforest the country they would be very happy. They would guarantee that it would be very well done because the militaries have discipline. Why not make moves in that direction?

Militaries could be transformed into Environment Protectors and Servants. Adding the polices, they could even become People and Environment Protectors and Servants.

Chapter 6 - I and Creation
When I look at the head of a little bird, of a dog or a cat, I thank God for having given me a human brain which can encompass so much of the universe. But then I think that the human head is still so tiny that it can understand only an infinitesimal part of the stupendous, infinite Creation. O God, what is your "real reality", out there, beyond the limits of our human comprehension?

WORD FOR THE DAY
We do not heal the past by dwelling there;
we heal the past by
living fully in the present.
