ANNEX - NATURAL LAW
"The Law is written in everything that has life, in the grass, the trees, the rivers, the mountains, birds of the heavens and fish of the sea; but chiefly in the human person.

Without beginning, the Law creates thought and life. Everything that exists, materially and immaterially follows that Law, the one Law which is everywhere present, behind all, governing all... When we become conscious of the Law, work with it, understand it, is a source of power, knowledge and harmony."

The Essene Gospel of Peace "The natural law of creation is to perpetuate life under the powerful forces of one Creator. The laws govern and define all forms of life. The laws and the relationship apply to even the smallest expression of life. This close relationship we have with the natural environment must be based on unity and the understanding that we are all relatives. We fully understand that we all depend on the natural elements in order to continue to survive. We recognize our natural and sacred relationship with fire, air, water and our Mother Earth."

"The Creator governs the four natural elements, which are the four basic natural laws. The four natural elements control the four seasons. They are organized to provide for the existence of all life forms and maintain the law of balance. Human beings do not have the right to disrupt this balance as our very existence is governed by these natural laws. Human beings have to abandon the idea that we are conquerors of this world and that we are above Creator's natural laws.

The current environmental degradation, global warming, ozone depletion and polluted waters are all indicators that these natural laws are being broken, thus creating a world out of balance. From an indigenous point of view and warning, mankind has strayed from the Creator's laws by forgetting and eventually violating Creator's Laws. If we do not uphold Creator's laws we will inevitably face punishment. Human beings can no longer ignore these laws as we are living in the most dangerous time in our human history.

These natural laws are the supreme law of the world and have precedence over human-made laws."

Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth
To be alive!  What wonders, what riches we can extract from the mere fact of being alive!  No wealth on Earth can ever match the worth of a single human life.

WORD FOR THE DAY
Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence, yet it is the one essential, vital quality for those who seek to change a world.
