Standardization has become vital for the efficient and smooth functioning of our global economy and society. It can be a major source of savings and avoidance of unnecessary waste. It is in the nature of world public service and good management.

| Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume III Chapter 4 The Highpoint of Human Life, Youth | Cosmic energy and life forces are at their peak in youth. Never forget it. You are the highpoint of human life, of the cosmic way, of cosmic evolution. * | | Dear Mr Mueller, I have been a regular beneficiary of your moral and spiritual lessons. I refer now in particular to GMW # 821 of 18 November 2005 regarding the 'Declaration of Human Duties, a code of Ethics and Shared Responsibilities (The Trieste Declaration)', as well as to 'The Ten Commandment to All Humans' of 11 April 2006. These are, if I may say so, impressive documents. As it happens, the Dutch Government intends to establish a Charter of Duties and Responsibilities, to counteract to what is perceived as an undue emphasis on rights in the past. I have communicated the above named documents to the person coordinating the work on the Charter and he was pleased to receive them. I promised him I would try to find out if there has been follow-up work done on these documents or if you possess references to similar documents. If so I would be most grateful for your advice. A healthy and a happy New Year, Mr and Mrs Mueller, and if I may say so, please keep up the good work. Yours Sincerely Toon Vissers Netherlands | | | | | | | |
