Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 6501 to 7000 |
~ Ideas 6535 & 6536 ~ As we are about to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the UN many thoughts are coming to me. I will write them down progressively. Here are two of them - the heads of the 192 nations who do not yet have the right, almost daily communications with each other should create them. Too much is left to the Ministries of 'Foreign Affairs', a less and less correct conception of the interdependent world of today. - the thinking, action and institutions of the 192 nations of the world are not doing badly as far as 'history', the past and the present are concerned. But the almost total absence of concerns for the immediate, short and long-term future of the world can be cataclysmic. I will return that often in my dreams and proposals for a better world. * |

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II Chapter 8 Of Health |
The health of a human being takes a long time to deteriorate and to recuperate but the sick person wants to be healed right away. This is not reasonable. One must assume that the body requires the same time to recuperate as it did to deteriorate. The same is true of humanity: it takes a long time for a global disease like pollution to build up. But when it breaks out, humanity wants it to be cured overnight! * |

The first rule is to keep an untroubled spirit. The second is to look things in the face and know them for what they are.
