They Taught Me
Happiness I
devoted a
chapter to
laughter and to
its benefits for
the individual
and for human
relations. Humor
is a very
powerful weapon
against
excessive power,
dictatorship,
wealth,
bureaucracy, bad
leaders and
politicians,
religious
intolerance,
etc. The law of
humor, which was
developed over
the millennia
has nowadays a
tendency to
spread from
country to
country. That is
good. I have
made my own
contribution by
writing Humor
Around the
World.
The publisher changed it to World Joke Book. I recommend to all peace, human rights, social justice, anti-racist and other such groups on this planet to use humor in their campaigns for a better world. As Voltaire said and demonstrated so effectively: le ridicule tue, ridicule kills. There are many things on this planet which we can call ridiculous.
