[GMW #3764] Longevity Increase With Population Decrease From Ways Of Life

[GMW #3764] Longevity Increase With Population Decrease From Ways Of Life  Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4159 ~
Given the significant increase in longevity of the western population their diminishing total number by 40 million from 1.2 billion people in 2000 to 1.16 billion in 2050 can be due only to a very considerable decline of the birth rate of their children due to the decision of couples and/or the decline of male fertility (see Ideas 3104 and 4139).

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume III - The Seasons of Life
Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth
An Eskimo saying:
"Before the white men came,
we lived under the ground and left our dead above it.

Now we live above the ground and bury our dead in the ground, and
everything goes wrong."

Be still, sad heart! and cease repining;
Behind the clouds is the sun still shining;
Thy fate is the common fate of all,
Into each life some rain must fall,
Some days must be dark and dreary.
~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
