Will destruction of the Earth be the only thing that will stop
capitalism? Will ecology win over capitalism?
Or will there be an Earth loving, concerned geocapitalism which will consider that the capital of the Earth is at least as precious if not more than financial capitalism? Anti-capitalist terrorism has been born as a highly damageable, undesirable factor. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume III - The Seasons of Life Chapter 7 - Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth
How can we accept to be burned or locked up in a
coffin or vault of cement when Mother Earth is waiting to take us
back into her bosom and resuscitate us into different life forms?

Is not this a true autumn day? Just the still melancholy that I love
- that makes life and nature harmonise. The birds are consulting about their migrations, the trees are putting on the hectic or the pallid hues of decay, and begin to strew the ground, that one's very footsteps may not disturb the repose of earth and air, while they give us a scent that is a perfect anodyne to the restless spirit. Delicious autumn! My very soul is wedded to it, and if I were a bird I would fly about the earth seeking the successive autumns. ~ George Eliot More from Robert Muller: RobertMuller.org Subscribe to/or unsubscribe from Robert Muller's GoodMorningWorld.org Click on any of these tags-labels to see more entries from Robert that have the tag-label: |

Given the significant increase in longevity of the western
population their diminishing total number by 40 million from 1.2
billion people in 2000 to 1.16 billion in 2050 can be due only to
a very considerable decline of the birth rate of their children
due to the decision of couples and/or the decline of male
fertility (see Ideas 3104 and 4139).
Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume III - The Seasons of Life Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth An Eskimo saying: "Before the white men came, we lived under the ground and left our dead above it. Now we live above the ground and bury our dead in the ground, and everything goes wrong."

Conferences are mushrooming to an incredible degree on planet
Earth, causing air traffic and requiring substantial hotel and
other services imposing on the integrity of the Earth and her
vital elements.
One way to reduce them would be to call for submissions by mail or Internet of specific ideas to resolve a problem or contribute to the subject-issue of a conference. This is what I do now in most cases. I send a conference an excerpt or excerpts from my 4000 ideas on their subject. There are many more ideas in such excerpts than I could propose in a speech and several interventions. Moreover, they are preserved in papers mailed to, studied and possibly kept by other parties. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume III - The Seasons of Life Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth I heard this in Alaska: An old Eskimo woman walks away from the family igloo, sits down at a distance and waits for the polar bear to come and devour her. She murmurs: "My son will kill you next spring and your flesh will feed our little ones."

Coming across Idea 3095 I would like to complete it with the
following sentence:
How wonderful I would feel today in my old age if I knew that a tree was planted on the day of my birth in Waimes, Belgium, a tree which would be as old as I. I would have a photograph of it on my night table and desk. It would be a symbol of my love for Mother Earth. And I would rejoice at the thought that another tree will be planted on my burial ground allowing my remains to be transformed into new life by Mother Earth and Brother Sun. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume III - The Seasons of Life Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth This beautiful goodbye of St. Francis at his death: "I leave you with my body, but I leave you my heart." "Io mi parto da voi con la persona, ma vi lascio il mio cuore."

~ Idea 4156 ~
A new political world order so long delayed could be created from
the top or from the bottom: From the top if the two great
federations of this planet, the United States and the Soviet Union
and other existing federations would decide to join in a common
World or Earth Federation open to all countries.
From the bottom, if this were done on the various continents of the Earth and then the continental federations would join together in a top world federation. Ideas like that are possible as proved by the creation of the European Union of fifteen countries henceforth without any borders between them. We need more such miracles rather urgently to limit the damages done to the Earth. Please heads of states, wake up and gain world and historic fame by proposing new, great political and administrative avenues to humanity. You will be amazed, happy and your descendants and people will be proud of you and bless you. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume III - The Seasons of Life Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth I was very moved by an old centenarian French peasant woman being interviewed on television. Asked about her views on death, she looked pensively to the ground and murmured in a soft voice: "The Earth is calling me back. I can feel it. The voice is getting louder every day. The Earth wants me back."
