Robert Muller (born 1923 in Belgium, died September 20, 2010) was an international civil servant with the United Nations. Assistant Secretary-General for 40 years, his ideas about world government, world peace and spirituality led to the increased representation of religions in the UN, especially of New Age Movement. He was known by some as "the philosopher of the United Natons".[1]

Muller has four children: Gisele, Solange, François and Philippe.[citation needed]

Honors

  • Robert Muller was honored by the New York Open Center in 2005 for his "Lifetime Dedication to World Peace and Global Education".[2]
  • Muller was also a member of the Advisory Council of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, and received the Foundation's World Citizenship Award in 2002.[3]
