Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 1001 to 1500
~ Idea 1449 ~    29 June 1998
Since the reforms implemented by the new UN Secretary General at the request of the US Government still did not satisfy the US Congress which turned down again the payment of its legal financial obligations and back dues to the UN, I suggest to the Secretary General to put an item on the agenda of the UN General Assembly or Security Council, asking that
the seat of the United Nations be transferred "to a more faithful and financially committed country".
~ Idea 1450 ~    30 June 1998
Isn't it strange that the President of the US and other western leaders found close to 10 billion dollars within 2 or 3 days to relieve the crisis of the South Korean stock exchange market and the US continues to refuse to pay its contribution and backlog of payments of 1.2 billion dollars to the United Nations.
In what kind of a world do we live?

We need more than a world vision (Weltanschaung).
We need a world love (Weltliebe).

WORD FOR THE DAY
We must slow down to a
human tempo and
we’ll begin to have
time to listen.

Come build a Bench of Dreams with us!
Link To Help This Project

Peace visionary Robert Muller initiated the concept of Bench of Dreams.
To dream, sit facing the magnificent view, holding a pebble in each hand. Throw one in the bay, and keep one to remember and manifest.

Fausto and I presented this Bench of Dreams concept and were selected along with 40 artists to participate in The SEAT Project, an art installation curated by land artist Topher Delaney.

The exhibit will be on display for a year starting June 23rd at the piers of Fort Mason National Park in San Francisco.

Since there is no funding at all for the building of the seats and benches, artists have to secure their own funding.

With FundRazr and your help, we will raise the money to buy building materials and cover other expenses like insurance.

Facing the San Francisco bay, our bench is an interactive piece, a very simple wood structure with two open copper lined containers on each side filled with pebbles.

We would be very grateful if you decide to support us!

Along with the thousands of visitors expected to Dream on our bench, we hope you can come and share this experience.

May your special Dream come true!
