I endorse enthusiastically the recommendation by the World Commission of Eminent Persons on Global Governance that a World Fund for Demilitarization be established by the UN. This would have been his great legacy. Unfortunately he concentrated his efforts first on his memoirs and died before he could undertake the great work he had in mind.
