I am so happy
to have
convened in
1979 the first
UN conference
on climatic
changes.
I was criticized at the time for raising a problem which was not real. Well, by the year 2000, it became a reality, vastly discussed in the world, especially due to the fact that so many people died as a result of unprecedented heat periods during the summer in several countries. Was it necessary to come to that for governments to wake up? Why did we lose 20 years? Volume II - The Art of Personal Happy Living Chapter 11 - Of Gratitude Being old, and losing my eyesight, I might say: "O God, why do you take away my eyesight?" Or: "Dear God, thank you for having allowed me to see so well for so many years." *
