There will be a world poll on
democracy and I have been asked to
submit one item which I would
recommend for such a survey.
I answered that many people around
the world ask me how the United
States can call itself a democracy
when it allows candidates to
public office to accept huge sums
of money from rich people and
corporations for their campaign.
Once elected they will have to
show their thanks to the people
who gave them that money so this
cannot be a true democracy.
A few days later I offered the
following more ideas:
The birth of a global people's
democracy, 2,800 international
associations and movements
registered with the Union of
International Associations in
Brussels.

To be
constantly widely open, to
lower the barriers of
self-sufficiency and

great ways for human
beings, societies and all
