If the total amount of capital accumulated in these tax havens were known to the world it would create a shock. This is why I recommend the re-establishment of the Fiscal and Financial Commission of the United Nations and its Fiscal Financial Branch. I worked there when I was a young UN official. Alas, at the insistence of powerful lobbies, both this Commission and its Secretariat were abolished. It would be a shame if humanity would not re-establish them.
