The trouble with our current civilization is that everything has to be measured, quantified in exact, precise terms. This is why the predominant idea of contemporary humanity is to make money because money is an exact measurement, supposedly, of life and happiness. This is also why a main purpose of education is to teach how to make money and to produce more goods and services. Typical of this situation is that we have Ministries of Finance, Economy, Industry, Science and Technology in all governments. cultivate it, treat it with loving care.
