The Earth Charter submitted by the Earth Council to all governments should give the Earth the fundamental right to be free of militaries, armaments, atomic bombs and atomic energy plants. Yes, we speak only of human rights. How about the rights of the living Earth? --- If we knew the ultimate secret of the universe, we would probably be very happy, but after a while we would discover that there is nothing else to do. We would then realize that the search, the path, the learning was the happiest part of our journey. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II Chapter 2 Of Happiness If we knew the ultimate secret of the universe, we would probably be very happy, but after a while we would discover that there is nothing else to do. We would then realize that the search, the path, the learning was the happiest part of our journey.
