| Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II Chapter 1 The Joy of Living. | Peace and world cooperation are moving forward most powerfully and inexorably. The more people will work at it, the faster we will succeed. * | | Subject: GMW #1511] Achieving A Non-violent Human Society At All Levels Great idea! This is what I’m working on, not only through the Garry Davis story (more, below, about the movie One - Global Citizenship), but also through the short pdf article The Myth Of The Hero With The Big Gun, and my new Bullyproof website at www.bullyproof.org . We surveyed the field of conflict resolution, condensed the various concepts into ten key "shields" and developed them into a simple easy-to-remember acronym: BULLYPROOF.
We made each letter stand for an animal character demonstrating a more powerful tool than violence. Then we developed BULLYPROOF SHIELD puppet shows and plays to make learning those ten steps easy, fun and entertaining. Arthur Kanegis --- Here' a brief look at Global Citizenship through the movie - One! The Garry Davis Story: http://www.oneworldcitizen.com/ A true story about a human being doing remarkable things. "Mark my words, this boy, Garry Davis, has grasped the only problem which deserves the devotion of contemporary people, the problem to which I myself am determined to devote the rest of my life, up to my very last day: a problem which is, very simply, the survival of the species. It is a question of knowing whether humankind - the very universe of man - will disappear by its own hand, or whether it will continue to exist." - Albert Einstein, 1949 | | | | | | | |
