Humans have been doing extremely well in science and technology, due to the fact that huge resources were given to them and profits derived from them. This was not the case of the social sciences. The 21st century must see to it that huge resources will be devoted to social sciences. Our profit will be the preservation of nature, of the Earth, our biggest capital, bigger than all the banks, stock markets, billionaires and industries of the world.
