| | | [GMW #1583] Inspiration When Seeing How The World Works Together And Cares For Problems, Dreams And Ideals | Monday 27 October 2008, Editor: Easy | RobertMuller.org | Contact | Subscribe | Unsubscribe | | GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish | Tagalog | Dutch | | Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 1 to 500 | ~ Idea 120 ~ 7 November 1994 One of the most interesting places on Earth is a basement: the basement of the United Nations in New York where there are the UN Bookshop, the UN Gift shops, the UN Philatelic Office and various international exhibits. I recommend that a new building be built in the UN park to display the works, documentation, books, exhibits, gift shops and memorabilia of all 32 specialized agencies and world programs of the UN family. Doctors, peasants, teachers, scientists, workers, all professions, ages, nationalities and races would be able to see how the world works together and cares for their problems, dreams and ideals. What a great fountain of hope, what an inspiring educational institution it would be for the two million visitors to the UN, humanity's House of Hope! * |
| Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II Chapter 18 Of Education (Inducation) | There is no greater learning process than to teach. We must all be wonder teachers and world teachers. To teach is one of the most crucial, beautiful, responsible professions on Earth. * | | People say, "What is the sense of our small effort?" They cannot see that we must lay one brick at a time, take one step at a time. Dorothy Day www.gratefulness.org WORD FOR THE DAY
