Going through chronological files of my correspondence
over the years I found copies of letters I sent to
very high level personalities like heads of state or
presidents of countries. All these efforts have led
to minimal success.
Those who are in power, who have the sovereignty and means to govern nations have made the world a place of their own. The mere soaring of the population of this planet from two and a half billion in the 1950's to more than six billion in 2000 and 8.9 billion in 2050 is an incredible irresponsibility of the human species, especially of leaders who say we cannot stop or influence the birth of children. Even these 5000 ideas will have a minimal impact. Looking over the entire post-war period when I worked for peace I see only two great successes: the concern for the environment and the creation of the European Union, the abolition of the borders between France, Germany and thirteen other European countries. My greatest hope for the future is the transformation of the European Union into a World Union. Volume II - The Art of Personal Happy Living Chapter 5 - Of Love Life is born from the ecstasy of love. That says a lot about the importance of love.
