For example the time lag between inventions and their massive use is getting shorter and shorter.  For electricity and the fluorescent lamp it was seventy-nine years, for the jet engine fourteen years, for wireless communications eight years.  This is not the case of political and social institutions.  For example: the United Nations which has become such an important instrument to respond to the massive global problems facing humanity is practically the same as it was fifty years ago. And when will we see the birth of a global world political system which would take care of the preservation of the Earth and ensure a decent standard of living for all peoples' of a stabilized world population?  Humanity will have to pay dearly this retardedness. The only substantial progress made was the European Union which it took forty-three years to create. Rasur, so many songs reflect the peace and justice humanity seeks. This morning the song, 'If I Had A Hammer', speaks to the theme of justice.  "I'd hammer out justice, I'd hammer out love for all the people all over the world."  Once when riding in a taxi to the airport in New York, I asked the cab driver what two songs he remembers learning first. He said, 'If I Had a Hammer', and 'Let There Be Peace on Earth'. There could be two new songs 'The Cleanest Mile on Earth', to show how one person can make a difference, and a Hopi song, 'Kogyun Deyo', the name Spider Boy given to Robert Muller to remind him to capture all evil on planet Earth in a vast spider web and toss it far into outer space.
