Today revolutions are condemned, labeled terrorism and considered the supreme immorality.  As a result profound injustices remain unresolved and are growing. Someone should establish a list of human progresses achieved through revolutions. We were taught in French school that the French Revolution gave birth to liberty, equality, fraternity, human rights, land ownership registration, free education, free choice of religion and a host of other measures for greater justice and equality.  What a good, useful revolution that was! The contemporary, growing inequalities between the extremely rich and the poor of the world and inside countries are not being corrected despite all the years of United Nations speeches, preaching, recommendations, efforts and minimal resources. We should therefore not be surprised if there will be revolutions on this planet.
