[GMW #1665] Creating Peaceful, Cooperating Communities Around Common Natural Geographic Features

[GMW #1665] Creating Peaceful, Cooperating Communities Around Common Natural Geographic Features Wednesday 18 February 2009, Editor: Easy | RobertMuller.org | Contact | Subscribe | Unsubscribe | | GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish | Tagalog | Dutch | Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 1 to 500 ~ Idea 288 ~ 24 April 1995 We must create on this Earth human peaceful, cooperating communities around common natural, geographic features: for example an Arctic Community, and Antarctic community, a North Atlantic Community, a Pacific Community, a Mediterranean Community, an Andean Community, a Middle East Community, etc. The military should not have the monopoly of a NATO and a SEATO. * Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume III Chapter 6 The Rich Age Usually when one becomes a wise person of advanced age, one is no longer needed, for a younger generation occupies the scene. To write, to teach, to conclude, to tell stories and transmit one's wisdom to the next generation becomes then a foremost service and delight. * UN News Sources - UN Chronicle, United Nations News Service, UN Wire News Archive New: References: Earth Charter, Universal Declaration of Human Rights Rights of: Children, Women, Indigenous People To Be Written: Rights of Nature, Birds, Animals, Fish, etc. Hello Robert! I'm delighted to have read about you and what you and your wife have dedicated your lives too. Like you, my father was born in France and fought the Nazis in WW II as a pilot. Try as we might, his six children wanted to hear stories of his experiences in the war but he took most of that with him when he passed into the next life. Seeing how he was obviously traumatized from the experience, I developed a deep sense of spirituality and a commitment to do what I can for peace in the world. I have recently completed a book about peace designed to be used as a 40-day meditation guide. It's a free ebook and can be downloaded at my website: www.walkthepeace.com. I thought perhaps you'd be interested in it. Next month, I will be leading a 7-week seminar with a group of people from a nearby Unitarian church who are interested in reading the book as a group. Pray for our success! Thank you so much for all you have contributed towards peace in our world. I hope one day we'll see memorials to peace heroes like yourself outnumber all the war memorials. Yours in peace and gratitude, Tim www.walkthepeace.com "If there is to be any peace it will come through being, not having." — Henry Miller, American writer and painter Most of All, They Taught Me Happiness by Dr. Robert Muller To order: Phone: 800-727-2782 Email: Becky@ParaPublishing.com Fax: 805-968-1379 Mail: Amare Media c/o Para Publishing, PO Box 8206 Santa Barbara, CA 93118-8206.
