All the past errors, all the wounding done to you will now come to an end. Perhaps we should call ourselves henceforth Earthlings, not humans, and Earthkind, not humankind in order to always remember where we come from, that we are an integral part of you, not distinct, that we are entirely born from you and will entirely return to you. And since the word economics (Greek oikos nomos, the management of the home) has lost most of its original meaning I propose that we henceforth call it Earthonomics and that ecology (Greek oikos logos, the science of the home) be called Earthology. [GMW #2905] Eating Healthful Food Thursday 30 January 2014, Editor: Easy RobertMuller.org| Contact| Subscribe | Unsubscribe Biography| World Core Curriculum | Store | Facebook | Twitter GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish| Tagalog | Dutch Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500 ~ Idea 3300 ~    Another discovery to keep in good health was the following.  I once said to my wife Barbara that my Hindu colleagues at the United Nations fasted one half a day each week on Tuesday afternoon until the following morning.  We did it a few times and after the fourth time I woke up totally rejuvenated, feeling extraordinarily fulfilled and young.  Having gone to sleep at 7:00pm we woke up at 5:00am which meant ten hours of sleep without even having to go to the bathroom once.  I could not believe it. A few days later we had a rich, heavy dinner with guests and went to bed at ten o'clock.  The following morning, after a restless night, I was a total disaster.  We decided therefore to eat very lightly in the evenings and to become almost vegetarians. Drinking only pure water and juices squeezed from fresh fruits and no human, manufactured, artificial, carbo-dioxided 'soft drinks', is also a major factor for a long, happy life. I suggest that a World Commission of Elders of the indigenous peoples of America be created to advise the world how they would govern and treat the Earth.* *A conference of Indigenous People on How to Save the Earth will be held in Virginia Beach in October 1998.
